Definitely need a serious striker and several key positions for depth in left back, Centre half and left and right wingers as the clinical finishing is only there with Son. So many of them have been saying that what they do doesn't affect how the team plays. Well it's pretty clear that it does have an effect, and it is disgraceful. These 'fans' need to take a long hard look at how they are conducting themselves, and start behaving more like adults instead of spoiled children.

    Do you think any Villa fans would have conflicting feelings if they were in Spurs’ position & Birmingham City were in Arsenals? Do you think any Man Utd fans would feel conflicted if they were in spurs’ position & Liverpool in Arsenals? Do you realise that a Liverpool fan can be seen celebrating when a Blackburn scored at Anfield in ‘95 when they were going for the league title? It’s absolute bollocks and cheap to beat the Spurs fans with this stick (I don’t even suppor them) and frankly pathetic from Ange to throw them under the bus under the guise of ‘I’m a winner mate’ with the billy big bollocks act.

You've seen Arsenal beat Leicester both home and way when Tottenham was in a 2-horse race against Leicester. You've seen United fans wanting to beat Arsenal last week even though their records are being shattered by City (let alone the neighbourhood rivalry)... so NO, no other fan-base has EVER fallen as low as Spurs fans did this last week. Some Arsenal fans flat out admitted that they’d rather lose the Europa League final if it meant Spurs losing the CL final, it’s literally on video! I’ll grant you the Man Utd Arsenal game but Man Utd - Man City derby is sanitised compared to others, especially after Man City have won so many of the recent league titles as opposed to Arsenal potentially winning their first title in 20 years.

    @@searchterminatorseed2301 you can easily find the clips from that game right here on youtube, go watch them before making things up and at the time, Liverpool were leading comfortably with EPL titles that why it didnt bother them much if United won. Now, I can understand United v Livepool rivalry since the accolade of the most succesfull team in England is at stake with them being very close at 19 v 20 currently... but Arsenal vs Spurs!? Whats difference does it make if Arsenal has 11, or 12 more titles than Spurs... its not like Spurs have any chance in hell of catching up Arsenal , When it comes to CL final, thats a trophy that neither of Arsenal or Tottenham has ever won, and whoever gets it 1st, would have a great upperhand, and yet that was just a "wish" where Arsenal team or fans had no say or means to influene the CL finale outcome, and I dont have any issue with Tottenham fans wishin Arsenal dont win any trophy, but to urge your manager and players to loose on purpose against City in a match that could have artificially decided the tittle winner, its never happened before. Im a West Ham fan and untill last week I too was hoping Arsenal dont win, but i'd never ask of my team to bend over for City this Sunday. In fact, following this farse from Spurs fan, i'm praying for us to stop City (however unlikely it may be), just to give Spurs fans a much neede leason, that Rivalry should not define who you are as football club... which is what Spurs fans did.

    Ange lad..you put us in this position. Losses to Chelsea, Arsenal, Fulham, Wolves, Brighton. 4 losses back to back. Imagine how it will go if we lose to Sheffield Utd and Chelsea pip us to 5th spot. Yes that Chelsea team that has been derided all season. Leaking goals..leaves Dragusin out? High line..wouldn't change we got hammered. Changes midfield every week. Same with front line. Subs..change the entire midfield. That outburst has put a lot of fans on the outer now. No forgiving all the above issues next season. If you last til next season.

    I’ll be amazed if Ange is at Spurs by the end of next season. I hope I’m wrong & he really turns this club into winners but his interview after the City defeat was very revealing. I think he saw for the first time the mentality at Spurs & why they lack ambition. Daniel Levy must support him financially & by allowing him to make the changes required to build a winning team & winning mentality at the club. If he doesn’t get that, I reckon he’ll walk.

    I think he has calmed down and recovered the situation. I still don't appreciate that he can't get how the fans felt on the night. He cant understand that they were torn. Mate, let the winning mentality start on Sunday by securing Europa. Take each cup tournament as serious as you did the City game and try to do One better in the league, and you will get you want from the fans. Do your bit, the fans will do theirs.

    He’s a winner, paid to win football matches, do the best he can for his club, give his club the best chance to compete at the highest possible level. In his way is a fan base that would rather worry about another club than provide the support for their team who still had the chance to take CL qualification to the final day. Control the controllables. Worry about what Spurs do, not what Arsenal do, it’s an irrelevance. Your comment ‘ I still don’t appreciate that he can’t get how the fans felt on the night ‘ this highlights clearly you’re one of the small minded morons! How are the club ever going to move forward with a mentality where they are more bothered about what Arsenal do? My opinion, this year was Spurs best chance of achieving top 4, next year with Chelsea at the very least being stronger you’ll be no closer. But hey, if Arsenal don’t win that’s all that matters right?!

But all things being equal, the fans were there for 4 straight losses and this was a unique situation. I hope today the last of it. I hope his message gets through to levy, the staff and the players and everyone commits to the vision for next season. Listen, everyone. Let's move forward and refrain from dwelling on what Ange said or what the fans did. Let's unite and collectively urge Levy to support the manager adequately. It's crucial to instill a winning mentality in Levy so that he becomes more ambitious in the transfer market. Remember, a winning mentality starts from the top. Come on, you Spurs, let's focus on this positive approach instead. If Levy doesn't back Ange properly, we must stand together and protest. Join us in the protest next season if Levy fails to deliver. Our battle is with Levy, not each other. Please, come to the protest.When the Spurs community comes together we can achieve incredible things.If you are interested to participate request for the link.

    Postecoglou could just be the manager that Tottenham have been craving for, previous managers would have patted themselves on the back finishing fifth. To be a winner you need to have a winners attitude, where even a draw is considered a defeat. Soon after Kane moved to Bayern Munich he was quoted as saying "We wanted to win at Spurs... but if you went a couple of games without winning it wasn’t a disaster. At Bayern you HAVE to win every game” - that has been the problem at Spurs for a decade or more, and people like Kane were part of that problem. Tottenham could be three nil up, ten minutes to go, and the fans would settle for the drawer because they knew that whoever Tottenham were playing would think "This is Tottenham, we can still do this", and so often they did. Manager after manager did nothing to change the status quo of throwing away a lead in the final minutes. For a time Spurs were building well, until they let Mousa Dembélé go and then Pochettino started to favour Trippier over Walker, persisted with playing Dele Alli when he had clearly lost his form and Christian Eriksen when he didn't want to play. On the eve of the Champions League final against Liverpool, that Spurs had somehow found themselves in, Pochettino talked about "moving on". Tottenham have a mountain to climb to get any success, but the first thing that needs to change is attitude, where just finishing in the top five and getting into the Champions League is not the extent of aspirational goal. Postecoglou has finished the season in a better frame of mind than when he first took over, finishing fifth, losing four games in a row and to Man City and Arsenal has hurt, he now needs his players to feel that same hurt.

    “I’ve just got to accept that” no mate, should be responsible enough to *understand* that. You’ve managed Celtic - you should know how derby rivalry works. As manager OF COURSE you want to win the game, no-one would ever doubt that. But at least understand why some fans would feel conflicted, understand the nuance of the situation, which would be the same with fans of ANY club. Don’t use it to give it the “I’m a ‘winner’ & you’re just below me” bollocks.

  • @kevinferguson530

    The rivalry between Spurs & Arsenal does is nothing compared to Celtic & Rangers. The hatred between Celtic & Rangers goes back for generations and even to this day it is not safe to take your children to an old firm derby. This is what caught Ange off guard, being abused from behind the dug out by a home supporter, what team does that? When supporters go to their home ground, you do so wanting your team to win, no matter the opponent or what implications it has on others. Who wins the EPL is up to Man City & Arsenal to spend time and energy on, not Spurs supporters.

  • @searchterminatorseed2301

    @searchterminatorseed2301

    28 күн бұрын

    @@kevinferguson530 the rivalry is *clearly* very intense between Spurs & Arsenal. No other derby has the religious connotations that Celtic rangers does, but that doesn’t mean they’re not steeped in history, like spurs / arsenal, Newcastle / Sunderland, millwall / West Ham etc. So with that in mind, why the hell would you belittle any fan feeling conflicted? Do you realise that when Blackburn scored at Anfield against Liverpool when Bburn were neck & neck for the tittle with Man Utd, a Liverpool fan can clearly be seen celebrating the goal? So are Liverpool supporters tin pot now? Do you *honestly* think there wouldn’t be any Liverpool fans doing the same thing today if they found themselves in the same position as Spurs? Of course there’d be some, you know that, the intense rivalry naturally dictates that. It’s part of the theatre, part of the drama, part of the heritage of English football & elsewhere in the world. It shouldn’t be mocked, it’s part of the fun ffs. You don’t have to mock football culture to be a supposed ‘winner’, they’re not mutually exclusive and the way Ange is hinting towards this is totally disingenuous & ridiculous and it seems some have bought into his billy big bollocks BS.
