I’m a frustrated Chelsea fan. Seeing a man we LET GO, exhibit good analysis and judgement gets my respect. He is trying to improve the team and the sport. I doubt there will be a retort from ownership or players. Even they should recognize honesty. Contes enthusiasm and skill has taken the team to the threshold of top 4, maybe even higher in the months to come. He cannot step on the pitch and play, but he can push hard for the right approach. Success can only come when a team responds to this direction. The Tottenham organization is to be congratulated for getting this far. Conte knows Arteta & Guardiola are still in front of his squad, and he wants it all. Hopefully someday Chelsea will get a quality man like him again, and ownership will support that man.

I'm a Lifelong Liverpool Supporter of 38 years, and this is true Heartfelt. In today's society, people will fill this with laughter emojis and put it all out on social media etc. It's a sad world and industry we now live in when a Manager doesn't have somebody himself to be able to lean on professionally and personally. Conte UP in my Estimation.

Are you joking? He blamed everyone but himself, accepted no responsibility and offered no solutions. There is no way for this club to move forward with him in this role. His spurs side has been turgid all season, he's been knocked out by lower league opposition every year in the fa cup (no spurs manager has a worse cup record). The team didn't even try to score against Milan for 70 minutes, that's his tactics not them. Squad has problems, some players need changing but this press conference is a joke.
I actually hated Conte at one point in time. Seeing how honest he is in interviews and the passion he has, is actually refreshing and inspiring. He is 1000% correct in that Spurs can't keep going through the same cycle of excuses, rinse and repeat. Players have to take responsibility and ownership. You can't change something that doesn't want to change!
@Chizyrascal87

Sorry what's the way forward then, sack everyone at the club except Conte? He just torched every relationship at the club. There's losing the dressing room and then there's seeing fire to it. No personal responsibility, no solutions just everything is someone else's fault. Absolutely disgraceful management.

@Chizyrascal87 but is the solution sack the managers constantly and get the same results? They have to look elsewhere and find things to change. They need to open their eyes man.
This is the type of truth we need to hear more of. I’m so sick of the circus of manger out/manger in nonsense in football when it’s the players that need to learn to take responsibility and put a shift in. Conte is old school, and I like that.

Surely, he gets sacked for this. However, if you’re a true Spurs fan you can see that he sacrificed himself because of how much he cares about the club. Should Spurs ever change for the better, he will be celebrated for this speech. Respect to Conte for speaking truth.
Literally what every other spurs fan has wanted to say for years to the players, the board, the staff, everyone... Everything at this club is just so weak and nonchalant about being average.... All banter aside, no fan deserves this; to be supporting a team playing for average and never to dream. But thank you to Conte 🙌

The fans are part of the culture. They are too blame too. That's why we support our clubs, we make it whole. So, when they fail, the fans need to ask what they can do. Stop tolerating it. Demand change. Liverpool, Man Utd, Real Madrid, Barcelona would not tolerate this for this long.

He is 100% right, i give him huge respect for addressing it like that you can feel the hurt and passion the man still has from when he was a player. He will walk very soon from Spurs as they are tripe and never learn, always have been always will be. He is way to good for that club
Fair play Conte! You’ll be missed in the league because there’s no way you’ll survive this outburst! Hope to see you back one day!
100% back conte for the way he spoke his mind and didn't answer the questions with the usual generic robot press conference bs like most managers do, he spoke from the heart, too many managers loose there jobs because the players haven't put enough effort in to get the results, players are paid way too much and don't get held accountable when things ain't going well on the pitch, there's also too much interference from above with the recruitment process, it should be the managers choice who comes and goes and have full control of the team, I feel sorry for managers, the game has changed and the players have too much power and say on how the club is run
Massive respect, some things need to be said and done if they want to change what’s happening in this team

This is what passion sounds like. I cant speak for Spurs fans as I'm not a Spurs fan myself but Conte has basically told it how it is. Tottenham are serial bottlers from top to bottom and its right what he says, it doesn't matter who they bring in as manager, nothing will change. It doesn’t take a genius to see Conte has had enough and doesn't want to be there.
40 goals conceded in 4th place means there is a big problem with the defense.
Great manager. Deserves to be at a proper big club
Mad respect for Conte, that was epic!
As an owner of a different club, I’d seriously want to hire him after this. He cares about success and ambition, he’s clearly not someone who’s happy to just have an easy life and collect his paycheque.
I am a Cityzens fan and I find conte’s words quite accurate and that fire he’s talking about it is in the hearts and the eyes of My team players. But literally, he’s telling the club’s board that changing the managers won’t do anything for the club but changing their players spirit in the pitch will.
BEST PART : 3:45 "...for the 7th? Eighth? I'M NOT USED TO THESE POSITIONS! "
Conte is totally right!! What he realises, just like Poch & Mourinho did, is that the players aren't good enough! Unfortunately that's where Levy has to take a lot of responsibility. I would be amazed if both Poch & Mourinho didn't want rid of some of those players but were stopped from getting rid because Levy didn't want to take a loss on what he paid. It's why all of the players a manager doesn't want, go out on loan. It's Levy's way of keeping hold until a new manager comes in and is expected to use them. It's been the same routine for years and won't change until Levy & co leave!
This is the beginning of victories for Tot, that's a pure love and commitment to the club.❤❤❤
We need more like him
Full respect for this guy
If I was a Spurs fan I'd love to see my manager saying this, players do get away with it all the time
