This movie can't be made in today IPL era as foreign players cannot be stereotyped as Evil villains. So much change in the perspective of how fans see sports

I don't know how Covert Indian missed this but one thing which was good about this movie (from what the covert Indian mentioned in this video) is that the scoreboard is quite realistic unlike most Indian sports movies. People don't have to chase at the run rate of 15 rpo when they have 1 wicket in hand. 😆. This may not be too noteworthy but it is still worth mentioning because of the rest of Indian movies (even Jersey). That movie is atleast 15 years old which didn't have to bother much about the realistic element which wasn't that much recognised back then.

The Royal Heritage Team's luck is like the Indian Cricket Team of 2005-2007. Like The Old Coach Resigns who made them win titles and just like John Wright Made India go to finals in 2003, won England NatWest etc so John Wright Resigned/The Old Coach Resigned And Greg Chappell Ruined the Indian Team, and Harry Oberoi also ruined the Royal Heritage Team. Lol, this movie showed this as well 🤘

The references work when it's seamlessly integrated into the script, here the priority seemed to be on the references itself rather than on the proceedings and the characters. As mentioned in video, the Heritage team boys roles were poorly written
