I agree with Mark. The Grell's had awful treble emphasis and the side of the headphone that the cable was on constantly pulled away from my ear making it so I had to press it against my ear to get it to seal. Luckily for them it was a prototype.

thanks to that reviewer who mentioned the air canada earphones. good thing i didn’t buy 1 last year from my trip to watch a movie or two. that’s 10$ garbage!! and i’m VERY curious now what’s wrong with the emerald sea. i love my 2019 andromeda and the next time i visit our local store here in downtown toronto i’m going to demo that emerald sea.

If we are talking about stuff I tried in 2023, I would point to the Dunu TALOS; absolute treble murder on even my ears who has already been somewhat accustomed to the treble response of a 7Hz Dioko lol another one would probably be the 7Hz Legato in the sense that it's nothing but a one trick pony IEM; it has BASS but quite literally no other redeeming qualities. I wanna mention the Moondrop Stellaris and the Hifiman Sundara closed but I tried those in 2022 so it didn't really count lol

I'll also share one of the worst audio gears I've tried in 2023. Hifiman Audivina. I'm not talking further about it. I'm not going to try that set of cans ever again.
