Hey Amol, really appreciate your videos. They're really helpful for me to not give up on my CAT prep. I also graduated in 2023 itself in BSc. Agriculture. I have my acad (9/9/8). I scored 92.83%le in CAT 23, missed the CAP for merely 2%le. Now I'm thinking of having a drop year for CAT 24 preparation. But I lack in VARC section. Can you please suggest me how to improve this section? and can you suggest which certification courses I can do to boost my CV and justify my gap year as well? Thanks in advance.

Hello! Glad you found the videos helpful. You can choose those certification courses which are really relevant, such as blockchain, lean production, 6 sigma, tableau etc!

i saw cat previous question papers.... they are a bit tricky but not hard compair to the questions usually coaching institute give. help me in this.

Yes because the coachings prepare you for all kinds of scenarios. You should practise harder questions so that on the D-day you find the actual paper easy :)

Bhaiya, are students not allowed to disclose any details that could have contributed to the selection upon converting any IIM? or is it just an IIMV thing?

Not all of it but yes we’re not allowed to disclose our percentiles. I have friends in other IIMs and there too they’re not allowed to do so

A valid attempt requires you to be student of the last year (or at the completion of 3rd year)of your bachelors . Before interviews all your marksheets upto that year or semester will be verified

Hey! Yes you can fill it if you want to but you’ll be treated as a fresher only as they only award work-ex points to those having work-Ex above 12 months or so. But it’ll surely have some positive impact on your profile during the interviews :)

Bro i would suggest to you don't try to cover all the topics. Only focus on lucrative topic which is commonly asked in cat and complete all this important topics in next 2 months and after that try to give mock and analysis. Note : only important topics of all 3 sections you can touch 90+ % ile.

Yes some colleges have a minimum criteria for 12th marks you can check that out on their websites :)

No for IIM Vizag there was no GD round

My CAT percentile is 96.7 ( varc-93, lrdi-95 quant -92) General non engineer female ! BUT my acads are-8/8/8 And since some months I am working in an ngo BUT I have 2 years of GAP I worked part time in my family business but no proofs for that ! 0 certificatations and 0 internship till now due to some anxiety issues ( but anxiety ka proof nhi h kuch khas yani docter ka priscription n all Ek ppr m chota sa likh k die tha unhone bas vo to koi bhi likh sakta h to may be vo yakeen na kare ! ) can I get into iim vizag with such bad profile ?

Hey! First of all your profile is not totally bad. Your acads are decent and you've got a decent percentile too. Just perform your best in the interviews as IIMV gives 48% weightage to the interview. Also, If you're able to justify your gap years then there is no problem at all. Hope this helps :)

Start from the basics as it covers appx 30% of the paper. Then only you can go on to advanced topics. Secondly, mocks are a must thing try attempting atleast 20-25 mocks before the actual exam. Apart from that making a habit of reading Aeon essays and editorials can be a game changer. If you religiously follow these things the exam can be cracked in 3-4 months!
