Great Video dada, just a question, previously there was GD in IIM selection also, but nowadays I heard there are no GD in the iim selection, so will there be GD in placements these days or some other process is introduced? (Actually I'm really bad at GD and I can't speak or interrupt someone even if I know something)

I have strong profile as I have experimented with my a few startups but still I am an introvert and more into creating products and stuff so I don't think MBA is for me given their politics as well. I come from a village in Bihar and my financial situation is not even that good to afford an MBA. After seeing that salary thing and performance criteria in promotion I realized that I can get promotion as my work ethic is strong and makup for money. 😂

I adore all the efforts you put while making a informative vedio. It's crisp and closer to precision, which helps us to understand the real world of MBA, I too have a query, if you can resolve. I m average student - 10th-62.7% 12th-62% B. Tech-69. 76% 4 + year of work experience in Crisil (2.5) and in Fitch (1.7) I was into Corporate sales (B to B) , I was working on a third party payroll so my package was not great(last drawn package was 4.5 LPA) Please suggest me about, what will be good, doing an executive MBA, or regular MBA. If MBA is from a good.college... the placements are quite good. That is where a decision is to be made... Alot of effort needs to be put If you get a 92..93percentile even then a GEM candidate should get a decent college... That can be done

Else... You can also do courses from IIMs ... Free ones from SWAYAM...or there are IIM courses small ones... Should cost like a lakh or two and try to get a decent hike.. and then 3 years later exec MBA

I dont know why keeping the money as the big picture I've took some crazy decisions in the past year. This video especially the last part was actually made me realise what I really want. I am pursuing Mbbs from a Gov medical College, currently in 3 rd Proff ,few years back i thought,how could i be admitted in premium College for MBA , perspective changes with brain ,i dropped my desire,and opend up Biriyani Restaurant in kolkata at very low cost ,the number turned from 1 to 7 ,i earn lakhs just from those restaurants without having no MBA degree ,Just i thing to say making Crores donot need mba or mbbs degree ,just need opportunity,ideas thats it ❤ my age is 23+ ( 2023 )

Sir my profile goes like this - OBC - creamy layer, not NC OBC 10th - 81% 12th - 67% Currently in 4th sem of Bcom and by the end my CGPA will be around 7-7.5 So with this average profile will i be able to enter IIM Calcutta? Cause now I've decided that if i wanna do MBA in life that should be from Top B schools, As most top IIMs consider profile very much in their selection, IIM C is the only one which gives slight chance who's profile is weak, so if i crack CAT with exceptional percentile like >99 will i be able to get into IIM Calcutta? If so will i get placed to atleast average package of the college??

Yes.. if you have your grad certificate by June 2024... You should write CAT 23

I have no other reason to give CAT except money and IT company are on break of hiring employees ( m an engineering graduate) .This is my drop year and my profile is very fine for me because this is the most i could have achieved from my background level. I have 87 ,82,85 in academics. Sir my resume been bothering me for a long time since i have no internship certifications added there ,i want to ask is there any chance of a person whose profile says just one thing that this person been studying continuously and has no backlog,can such person get into IIMs and if yes then can they compete with people ( made for iim - people) there

I would be really frank with you, hope you don't mind. 1. Do you have any reservations? because with your profile, you would need to score in excess of 99.8 percentile in CAT to even dream about getting into FMS, TISS is good but not at the level of FMS. 2. Also please educate yourself on consulting and HR, these two are highly different roles and require different skills. From a difficulty standpoint, getting a consulting role in an MBB is leaps and bounds harder than getting hired into HR. MBBs or other highly acclaimed firms only tend to hire the top students from top B-schools and I am afraid they won't bother hiring from TISS. 3. All the best for your CAT exams

I am a second year commerce student from Christ, I got 80% in 10th and 84% in 12th, Can't say much about UG but most probably have a GP of 3/4 Is it possible for me to get into ABC? Moreover, I am also working in a start-up which is growing quite well. I am on a management level there.

Hi Sir, I've done graduation from IIT Kharagpur in 2019. I did not take placements then since I aspired to join the Civil Services. I gave Civil Services Interview this year but missed final selection by a few marks. I was wondering, is higher age without work experience a problem in IIMs? Like I currently have a gap of 4 years and my current age is nearing 27. My profile is 95/92.6/77.1.

You are absolutely fine. I will advise you to bring the UPSC regimen to CAT... put those hours in. 6..7hrs daily and get yourself into IIM ABC... Nowhere else. You can do it.

Hello sir, kindly guide.. I have 88% in 10th{icse} 70% in 12th{isc} But 6 yrs of academic gap. I have enrolled in online bba this year. Will be graduating in 2026. I have a aim to qualify for cfa,cfp,frm certifications and do some other fianace certifications as well. I am currently running my fathers business. GAP doesn't matter since you are having a business... get a decent Percentile... you will be in the IIMs

Bhaiya good mba colleges like xlri and iim fees are close to 25 lakhs in how many years loan gets repaid if one get's lower than average placement in these colleges.

But sir 25L loan, assuming a person from a tier1 college graduates with 1.2L(modest figure i guess) and even if he pays 50k every month towards emi, it would take atleast 4 years just to reach 24L (not even including the interest markup). Please correct me if I'm wrong.

i have one question, can a person with career gap gets a call from top iims ? provided he is good at academics.
