Scripted. Here's how you can tell. Watch Henry battle live and he only wins about 50% of the time, like an average player. But magically when it's pre recorded battles he wins 80% . Ask yourself this, is it reasonable that these content creators reach legend every season? Henry has 14 seasons of legend now where your average player has hit legend a few times. He's made probably 5 of these starmie videos now and magically players keep bringing Gary into his starmie and not shielding. And do your really believe ad revenue from these vids generates enough money for him to leave his day job? People so gullible.

@Rok Papr it's a showcase... out of 25 possible battles, how many do you see shown? There's a reason why he says he doesn't recommend using it. Nobody is being gullible... people don't shield against it because nobody ever uses it and they don't know what to expect from it.

With all due respect - Hello there.... I am a player since 2016. Got my interest into gbl since season 2 . Currently I am at ace ranking! I have noticed that , the pvp community and players interested in gbl is extremely small. Although , I have an idea to engage it , but If I tell this to niantic, they might not listen to it. If a big pvp youtuber says this , they might consider it! If niantic adds new perks to gbl , it can become interesting for many players. Perk number one- There should be a shiny multiplier that gets increased as people climb rank. This will encourage a lot of regular player to get into pvp. Perk number 2- There should be weekly gbl tournament, which start at a different time in different parts of the world .... a player can only enter one of them , and after entering the tournament, he can battle for a limited number of rounds in the tournament ,which will give that player a rank in it's local tournament's leader's board! The prize for getting on top should be some nice awards such as some great bundles! This will encourage people like me ( who are bored from battling ) to re-engoy the fun! I hope so , you like this idea and give some response on it! Even if you don't like it , still I request you to respond on it and reply! Thanks!!

Amazing how this starmie keeps taking a long list of Garys names season after season. LMAO.

That's kool I just learned they did away with a few moves of several Kanto Pokemon back in August of 2016 as they had access to moves that they actually couldn't learn in the main games. Such as quick attack starmie, psybeam Chansey etc. And if you happen to have had one of those mons with those moves before that date and not have changed their moveset that is how you grandfathered in a true legacy that is no longer obtainable. To think I had my account since 7/11/2016 as I still have two Pokemon from 2016 my starter Charizard from the same day and an Umbreon I caught as an Eevee on 7/22/2016. I didn't play that much when I first played and pretty much put down after that summer. I didn't start seriously playing until September of 2020. Wish I could have went back in time and grandfathered myself a Mudshot Golem

As mudshot is much more efficient than mudslap it charges energy fast thus it would make Golem Alot better atleast in Pvp

It's unobtainable legacy, it was a mistake moveset. Niantic fixed it after a few weeks in 2016, but if you have a 2016 starmie there's a chance it has quick attack! Any starmie after can't learn it, even via elite tm

Starmie has plenty of moves but they are not good enough. Starmie needs something more cheap and spammy in order to threaten the meta. It is also your typical glass cannon pokemon but that's not a big issue since we have had experience handling those type of pokemon. The big issue is the moves I think.

It was an old starmie from 2016! Quick attack was a mistake moveset that was available for a few weeks in 2016 before they caught it. Any starmie after that period can't learn it, even via elite tm

It was a mistake moveset! Starmie doesn't learn quick attack in the main series. They patched it a few weeks after launch. Only way to have one is to have a 2016 starmie that already knows quick attack, can't even get it via an elite tm
