Believe it or not, Tuva was quite important to the USSR during WWII, sending about ~20,000,000 worth of gold to them and hundreds of thousands of animals. It also did declare war on Germany (although, given it was a Soviet puppet, it was never officially recognized as an Allied Power) shortly after the USSR did, although the exact date is disputed (often cited as 25 June 1941). There's also a few minor (but easy to miss) errors; Ceylon was never a part of the British Raj, being a crown colony. Additionally, while the Philippines was still a U.S. commonwealth at the time, it was allowed to sign itself in 1943 as part of the UN declaration (given that the U.S. was already planning to give it independence by 1947) much like India. Finally, Mexico, while not a direct participant in the Pacific War, provided Air Support.

When the timeline was nearly at December 7th, 1941, I was like “Hold on to your butts.”. That was when the Japanese skies in the video, and the German and Italian ones in the video on the timeline of the European Theater, started to smell like cheeseburgers. In the distance, you can hear the chanting of “Hamburger, cheeseburger, Big Mac, Whopper, and a side of fri-i-i-i-es”. That should be our war chant

Tbh Thailand is technically kinda not and kinda yes an ally of Japan. The Thailand government let Japanese troops into their country to go to British Malaysia, Dutch Indonesia, and into British Burma. The Japanese successfully went to the South and got some land from Malaysia and Indonesia. However, the way to Burma was very tragic. Some Thai citizen didn’t like the idea of the Thailand government decision so some people from the province of Kanchanaburi decided to “attack” some of the Japanese. Some Thai people in the US also told the US government about the Japanese building train tracks in Thailand to go to Burma. After the news, the British and us airforce bombed the train track. However, the Japanese managed to marching into Burma.

23 June 1939: Siam became Thailand prior 2-3 months before the commencement date of WWII. October 1940 - May 1941: Thailand adopted the neutrality and engaged in the direct Franco-Thai War to annex the Thai extraterritoriality from the Vichy French colonial administration. 8 December 1941: Thailand signed the Armistice and military alliance treaty after the irresistible Japanese invasion (Not Tripartite Pact Agreement). 1942-1945: Thailand extracted the extraterritoriality from the British Commonwealth through the proxy-war via the Japanese support. "Some Thai citizens/people" were the underground resistance or partisan in the country. "Some Thai politicians" abroad were the Free Thai Movement. Aftermath: Thailand was the defeated belligerent as the nation in WWII, however it was the Free Thai Movement that won in WWII.

Minor correction: The French State was not proclaimed as the Axis-collaborator until 1942. The French State = Vichy France (German-collaborationist) + German Occupation Zone (The French under German control) French Indochina = The Vichy French colonial administration under the German-collaborationist (Not the French State)

7:59 lots of people tend to forget that the Soviet Union actually invaded Japanese occupied Manchuria in WW2 and actually played a big role in Japan’s decision to surrender to the United States. Some historians even think that the nukes didn’t need to be dropped in order for Japan to surrender. Also pretty interesting how it took months after Japan’s surrender for some Japanese forces to surrender in Southeast Asia

From what I have read and watched, I would say the nukes weren't needed. The Japanese already had spread their forces too thin and rapidly running out of supplies. It's only a matter of time, resources and millions more lives until the Japanese gets defeated. The only reasons the Japanese were able to get that far were because they were about a decade more advanced than the Chinese and the Chinese Nationalist Party decided to settle the civil war before fighting the Japanese. The Nationalists proved to be no good at war nor economy, so the Americans pretty much gave up on them, resulting in the Chinese Communist Party rapidly gaining power with the help of the Soviets. The CCP proved to be capable of fighting against the much advanced Americans in the Korean War. So, in theory, the Japanese would've been defeated by the CCP and the Soviets without the US dropping the two nukes.

@José Gabriel Da Fonseca there are documents about it, prominent leaders such as Eisenhower and McAurhur were against the nukes being used. But be real, if the US firebombing Tokyo didn’t cause a surrender earlier in 1945, why would two nukes which do the same damage have any effect? It’s odd the Japanese waited until after Nagasaki as well. It’s like when the USSR invaded they decided to surrender to America. Also why did the United States nuke and destroy and kill innocent civilians who had no part in the war. Why not do a military base? I suggest seeing the video “Dropping the Bomb: Hiroshima and Nagasaki” by Shaun via KZread. He explains everything in detail. Much of American history is white washed and the end of the war is taught completely differently outside the US. It’s almost if America doesn’t want to get rid of its nukes, and admitting the it committed nuclear genocide against Japan means people will be more vocal about getting rid of nukes, that’s something the CIA and US Government don’t want.

Ironically, if Japan had not invaded Vietnam, Vietnam would still be a French colony, and France would not have recognised the independence of Vietnam and other Indochinese countries after the war, and the Japanese army drove out the French stationed in Indochina, leading to Vietnam's independence.
