World Series of Poker Main Event 2009 Day 3 with ElkY, Hellmuth, Lisandro & Joe Hachem

Ойын-сауық

Day 3 sees 2,044 players return to the Amazon Room and immediately Phil Hellmuth isn't likely to be making any new friends. Two Bobby's Room regulars see their Main Event end shy of reaching the money.
Play continues with 2005 World Champion Joe Hachem delivering a bad beat to two opponents. A previous champion and a multiple bracelet winner are eliminated, as the field drops below 800 players.

Back in the day the Main Event was as much about the stories of people like Kent Senter as it was the cards, I hope the time comes when PokerGo or a network brings it back.

u also gotta remember they had months to film & edit a story together, today it's stream live, no November 9 stuff. WSOP was way better back then but in the age of information today I doubt they ever repeat this.

Idk, I could do without the stories, I just fast forward through all that stuff anyway. What I DO miss is the better produced Lon and Norm commentary.

I think it's the worst part of the coverage. There are too many fluff pieces that no one cares about.

I miss that era, I haven’t watched a main event in the past few years. The players are so boring and take years to make a decision

Why don't Americans understand that 'Aussie 'is pronounced with a 'z' sound? They hear the chant a million times 😅

The guy not shaking Phils hand is hilarious. I love how guys like that will accept unending praise from strangers but a single stranger not liking them results in “do you really know me?”

Phil trash talking and name calling as usual, and wondered why a couple hours prior the guy refused to shake his hand… lol
