Jake I too am a Met fan and feel the same way. I feel we may have a "special" team this year and would lave a rallying cry. In "86 we had the "rally caps".

If you ever get the chance.... Get here a few days before the game and check out Boston's eateries (which there are so many of, that it would be idiotic for me to claim one or the other as the best) our seafood is definitely our thing but if you are in the mood for a pizza or a high-end delicious Italian dish then no need to look at any other city. If you are in the mood for a burger, stk n cheese or a steak dinner of any cut then you will be blown away!. When it comes to experiencing Fenway Park and the entire environment inside and out, you will be overwhelmed by nostalgia, street vendors/music and delicious food and an undeniable feeling of small town togetherness for such a city. If you do come and visit Boston to catch a game you will understand that when it is time to sing Sweet Caroline inside the Emerald Green Sardine Can... It actually becomes a bonus to your already fun bostonian experience!. So Good So Good So Good!

And I miss the old Yankees Stadium and the good old baseball traditions your team has hung on to. I can't stand seeing the $1000s+ "luxury suite" seats behind the dugouts at Yankee Stadium always half full because the so-called Yankee fans sitting there are inside eating the section's 5-star restaurant/buffet!

Yes, even Fenway has some newer luxury sections, but since it is islanded with streets on all sides, it can't get a bigger footprint, so it still retains a traditional feel it's had forever.

Wisconsin (Camp Randall) does it so much better TBH.

Quite possibly the gayest "tradition" in all of sports....worldwide. I have not really observed any of the soccer traditions (or as the euros call it...."footie") but I am certain this giggling fairyfest on this video is by far....the weakest, the gayest..."tradition in all o' sports.
