18:57 Burn Book is part of the movie Mean Girls. Apparently (said by a KZreadr who re-created the book in a video) is ment to name people on there that you deeply hate. She for example wrote into hers about a girl who snitched on her in school or a boy who joked to her about having a crush without actually meaning it and she drew their faces into the book with their names

The burn book from mean girls was made by the antagonist Regina to ridicule all the girls in the school. She eventually adds herself to frame the main girl for writing it before spreading it around school. Not sure if that KZreadr explained it badly but it's more about bullying not really people actually doing anything wrong.

The BFG stands for Big Friendly Giant; For more context, Sophie is an orphan who one night is taken from the orphanage by the BFG after she spots him from her bedroom window. The BFG then whisked her away to "Giant Country", where she learned about the BFG and the many bigger giants living there. As you mentioned, the book follows their adventures in Giant Country, which sparks a friendship between Sophie and the BFG. The Books are written by the same person who wrote Matilda, so should definitely read it if you haven't already. The Burn Book is from Mean Girls, it's a book where the characters (high schoolers) write mean comments about their classmates within the pages. Rather than burn it, the book is called "The Burn Book" because it's basically a place where they could "burn" or roast their classmates without them knowing. However, the book is leaked and causes major trouble within their school and for the characters, as classmates turn on each other, trying to figure out who wrote the book.

JACKIE: Look in bags for bookmarks or magnifying glass also! 5 surprises per ball. ONLY the first couple of pages are readable. Kind of false advertising but if it was completely readable then the books would be a lot thicker and a licensing issue probably. A lot of these books I do not know. I am 60 though. :) Three of these books are from a previous min brands capsule, A Christmas Carol, Black Beauty, and Alice in Wonderland. People were buying those books on ebay for 15.00! I think the woman on the cover of one of the Vampire Diaries is the actress from Twilight. Pride and Prejudice and Zombies is a book AND a movie! I know the Burn Book is a lined page blank book.

Kinda sad that just the first Chapter is readable and the rest is just "Lorem Ipsum [...]", but as a graphic designer I know how hard it is to typeset tiny text and when ink bleeds (which it usually does) that would be unreadable. I did find the Milwaukee Journal, but I haven't found the tiny ones on the site. I'm not sure whether those will have been digitized. One mention I saw was that they were handed out at the State Fair. Honestly, this was a brilliant marketing idea. Earliest ones I saw were from the early 1950s. Hope whomever came up with the idea got an awesome bonus!

Bunnicula was my favorite book as a child. I had the entire series and when I was in my 20's I got a pet black and white bunny bunny who looked just like the one on the cover of the series I had. (Who is sadly no longer with me) that book series held such a special place in my heart and my life and the fact that it was written by a husband and wife team.... I have held out for a man that I can create something like that with some day... It doesn't have to be a successful book series just someone that wants to create with me... Some of my favorite creators are husband and wife teams... I just... Tmi maybe but if you haven't read these books at this point and your an adult they are such an easy read now and if you have kids ... They aren't scary and they are written SO WELL give your children the gift of these stories I promise you will both be grateful you did.

Bunnicula himself is more of a side character honestly. The co-stars are Chester the cat and Harold the dog, and eventually, Howie who is the puppy dachshound(presumed to be part werewolf). There were lovely little pictures ink pictures that went along with the books. My favorite was when Chester attempts to stake Bunnicula, but he's a cat, so what he tries to do is smother the bunny with a t-bone steak. The picture is absolutely priceless.

Omg I read Bunnicula in third grade! My teacher would gather us around and read a few chapters every day through the whole series! She did voices and everything (Chester’s was the best and the only one I can remember lol). I even remember there was a tornado after school so we were all stuck inside and she just kept reading. One of my favorite teachers and a super nostalgic book series for me ❤️

Nooo you can’t bend the books, the precious needs to be looked after!😂😂😂 I was always afraid to lend anyone my books when I was young in case they bent pages or folded them etc My mum used to laugh when I’d get a brand new book and basically only crack it open enough to read the words because I wanted to keep them in perfect condition!😂😂 love the smell of them too.

As cute as they are I'm a little horrified that Colleen Hoover's books are included in here. Those are very adult books with mature themes, and to include them in a toy that mostly children will be buying... Thats a little scary to me.

‘Won’t someone think of the children!?!’ I’m not sure these are targeted to kids. Even they are, it’s up to parents to pay attention to what they’re giving their kids. Also, they’re not full readable books.

Uhm yeah I wouldn't say Vampire Diaries, Stranger Things and probably not the Pride and Prejudice parody are for small kids either. It's clearly targeted to an older audience. Also how is it a toy? Just because it's minatures or surprises doesn't make it a kids toy 🤷🏼‍♀️

I enjoyed Shel Silverstein poetry/stories. The Missing Piece, Where the Sidewalk Ends and A Light In the Attic. Loved pretty much any Dr. Suess book, still do. I love rhymes, poetry, and illustrations. As a teen and young adult I was into some Stephen King novels, Dolores Claborn, Green Mile, Gerald's Game (I never read 50 Shades of Grey, but I always tell people Gerald's Game would definitely cool them down) Now I'm into sci-fi and mysteries mostly.

I was OBSESSED with Bunnicula when I was a little grain! I loved those books! Everyone else was reading Babysitters Club or Warrior Cats! lol! Edit to add: I was also obsessed with Harry Potter but the school banned them. It was fun though putting just Harry Potter reading on my Reading Report and watching my teacher squirm. I didn't like her at all so it was fun tormenting her by rubbing it in her face that she can ban then book at school but she had to accept the reading because mom refused to take my books away and the teacher had no authority for what I read at home. The teacher tried to fine me for a book she and I both know I returned because she was there in her library/closet making sure I put it back in the right place according to the code on the sticker and then she locked the door behind me as I went to go sit down in my seat. She tried to punish me by preventing me from going on a field trip so I lied; saying mom would pay when she got her pay at work. I got to go on the trip. The teacher put me in time out in a corn maze and left me behind. They were leaving by the time I made my way out alone, she looked right at me, grinned, shut the bus door and they drove off without me. Never gave her the money for the book she somehow managed to lose.

You could use them in a diorama as fillers. Maybe cover them in felt or a piece of paper, add a decorative ribbon to some and you got yourself some books to fill a witches' cabinet.
