I went to Quito last year October! Ecuador 🇪🇨 is a very beautiful country in South America! The altitude was so high!

Ecuador is beautiful. Galápagos Island, Quito, Cuenca, Guayaquil, Riobamba, Manabí, etc are beautiful places to visit.

I love your travelogues. First because you two are very personable, and then because you don't just work off the baedeker.

Very nice video! Did you notice that water drains one way north of the equator and the other way south of the equator. You can really see this in Quito and it's neat!

I spent a couple of months there for an internship and totally loved, so glad that you guys did too! Just on a side note only take the taxis with the blue sticker (those drivers actually have a license)

That is a breathtaking experience and beautiful video.

It's amazing that you visited my City where I borned, I hope you have had a good experience, greetings from Quito This country was called Ecuador after La Gran Colombia🇪🇨🇨🇴🇻🇪🇵🇦 dissolved and by the French expedition. Before Ecuador was called or knew la Real audiencia de Quito Who wouldn't wish La Gran Colombia return 🇨🇴

Wow! Quito is a beautiful city that is why is a Heritage Site. I love the iconic churches, and in general downtown, the mountains that surrounded Quito, the parks, and the Quicentro” it's so elegant with the USA and European shopping. Thank you for sharing your experiences.

I don't know why but I find cities in Latin America looks mesmerising like Quito can you imagine living in a very high city omg Quito is beautiful

I’m surprised you were able to hike after the 🚠 ride up the mountain. When I was there, I walked gingerly just to the look out point and then head back down. Quito was really pretty but it took me three days to acclimatized to the altitude before I can comfortably walk up and down the historical core without trying to catch my breathe or having a bad headache. Hope you were able to make it to Galápagos Islands.

the soup was not just potatoes it has the lining of the stomach in it, as for the taxi you need to make sure they have a sticker on there car or you might be in a fake one .

I always thought California smelt like something's always burning. Like weed and Forest fires.

Are you guys having problems in breathing? I have heard it's common in those high altitude cities of Andes

I imagine it's difficult eating vegan around the world. I go through months of eating vegan and then go back into eating meat and dairy. I go a couple months, then eat meat for a couple months then go back to vegan. I enjoy eating meat too much to stick to it full time, but I do love the benefits of eating an extreme number of veggies and fruits. My favorite is an acai bowl. Currently, I am eating vegan and doing juice fasts. I always feel so much better in my body when doing it. I am curious how you would both do in Argentina.

I live in Quito. Every time I walk anywhere I am reminded that pedestrians are second class citizens. Cars will honk at you to get out of the way even when you are in a crosswalk with a walk sign that you waited for. Crosswalks without a walk sign? Don’t even THINK of stepping in front a cars there. Bicycle? DON’T! If you like living.

Can you visit Quito without renting a car?
