World's Most Difficult Trick Shot!

Спорт

Trying the impossible year of training and luck!
My channel reached 500,000 subscribers yesterday.
So I thought I would do something exceptionally wild
I tried myself out, and tried different things and then it became more and more complicated and more and more difficult:
I jump up in the air
Swinging bow from my back
Shoots through keyhole
Shoots through a string
And blindfolded
By the way, to shoot through keyhole it is an arrow without feathers which also makes it harder.
Bow in video is a very small (about 85 cm.)
special edition of Şimşek Azaraks model,
Based on the historical Babur Mughal flight bow
40 # but at 26 "
I was actually myself quite surprised it was actually possible even with many attempts
Afterwards I begin to consider how difficult this trick-shot really was
I'm seriously considering if this is the hardest trick ever done ???????
(of course no one can know this for sure)
I asked Dr. Murat Özveri expert in historical archery.
He knows an incredible amount and is himself a good archer who also experiments with historical tricks Dr. Murat Özveri agreed that this may be the most difficult shot ever.
Historic super archer was amazing
but their archery was for practical use and even though they did trick shooting it was only secondary.
My advantage is that I live in modern times where the purpose of archery is only fun, so for years I have almost only trained to learn wild things and busting my limits.
I also do live archery trick but this is a video trick (which requires a lot of attempts)
So I wanted to do something that was only possible because I could try many times, so this is my limit of ability and luck.
Are you an archer and are in doubt about how difficult this is, try yourself
it's a fun experiment.
Sincerely
Lars Andersen

I really appreciate how humble this dude is. He is clearly at the top of his game in the world, possibly one of the best in any recent history. He knew that he should still get an outside opinion to really discuss the trick shot. And even after how amazing this is, he makes such a great point about how no ancient archer would waste their time trying to do this impossibly difficult to replicate shot because it is so inconsistent and there's still so much luck involved that only video recording technology could make it look so impressive. We may not be able to be certain it is the most amazing shot in history, but it is definitely will be one others are going to try and master in the future now that he has proven it can be done.

It's because there are so many people within archery that hate on Lars claiming he's not real or he's not doing proper archer or using a heavy now etc. Though it's quite funny to the average viewer lol. Pls make more videos Lars! Your light archery is extremely entertaining. I'm thinking of getting into low poundage trick archery now just because of it. PSPS for most of recorded history armour was extremely uncommon (only the last 1000 years had Gambesons be standard, 50,000 years of most of the army being naked basically). So you're correct. Most people hating on you have an extremely narrow view of history, They only think of medieval pitched battle warfare from 1000-1600 AD, an extremely narrow view. They fail to consider other cultures and other time periods. The bow has been around for 50,000 years, while Gambeson and other "effective, cheap conscript armours" have only been around for 1000 years. Lower poundage bows have been dominant before that narrow 1000 year gap, especially in foot skirmisher and horse archer troops.

When you feel you're done with trickshooting you should show some how-to/educational stuff. Some tips for archers who are interested in these style of shooting...If you know what I mean.

There's already a video on that on this channel. Talking about how he uses the shooting styles that archers used back then.

Lars, one thing that video game players who do amazing and impossible-looking things do is record their total number of attempts. You should livestream your training sessions; interaction not necessary, but just to prove how much time and effort you put into your art, it'd be very interesting to watch.

Well, the string with the pouch on it wasn't moving, so not really impressive! In all honesty this is the first video of Lars Andersen to receive a like from me. I have seen most of his videos as misleading, not historically representative and have criticized them as such. This one he declares in the title that it is a Trick Shot (I know he has 2 others) and he explains within the very same video, how much work he had to put into it and admits right out that things did not go the way he had anticipated. Hard to say if it really is the world's most difficult one, but this is a great video, a hugely impressive trick!
