THIS ONE, on the other hand, is one kickarsed pad.. I love the 'Scandinavian' aesthetic.. Eastern Europe has the coolest modern builds.. Even Japan is beat on that (Sorry, Yoshihide Suga, Don't cry now!! pokemon tears lol)

Beautiful place. The only thing I saw wrong was the location of the stairs? Directly over the counter? Better not leave any food, etc on the counter. Anyone who walks up will be kicking dirt,dust onto the counter. I would've atleast encased the steps so they're not open in the back. Otherwise this place is Primo! 👍

Lets make a durable and possibly secure container home and then put in massive glass windows ........

Doesn’t look like there are any window coverings in the bedrooms either.

But the ceiling is only 7 or 8 feet high??

Seems like all the dopest Airbnb's are always in Ohio

The stairs literally over the food prep area…? 2:35 can’t tell if they are trying to go with high end finishes in some elements, and then offset those costs with really cheap, boring elements elsewhere. For the end result, they may as well have gone with a traditionally built structure. It somewhat defeats the reason for the use of containers. They ended up having to compromise on things (again, that kitchen, that entry/ stairs), just to say it’s a “container” home. =/ Scandinavian only because of the industrial, minimalistic (lack of) details, and large-spans of glass. The only thing that gives the design charm is that they can look out at the trees/ greenery. McScandinavian?

Makes you wonder what was shipped inside those containers… 💭

Well, I guess it was a matter of time until we started seeing McMansions of container homes…

Very nice, but why use containers? You could do this so many different wars than using 7 containers with so much extra labor involved. Seems to be silly and the dealing with the building inspector here would be a nightmare. A pole building would make so much more sense. JS

Too much glass for my taste. All I can think of when I see homes like this is vandals and thieves throwing a brick and busting the glass.

Not a great fan of huge stairs right at the entrance. Also, to make it worse, its hanging on top of a Kitchen Island. Worst design!

Definitely not a fan of this one. Everything looks cheap and it doesn’t feel comfortable or welcoming. There’s no bedroom it’s more of a single bed with some pillows. That’s it. The space he calls a closet is just terrible. The kitchen was the best part of the home. Clean up the dead trees the knocked over .
