IMO the best reenactment is GAP 1 held in Fort Indiantown Gap, Pennsylvania (Located in the U.S.) the event isn't necessarily open to the public, but to reenactors, it feels like the battle of the bulge. There is a 1940s french Café open after hours and a very accurate, fully operating HQ.

Was hoping to attend this year for the first time. I was unable to , really enjoyed your take on the event , I now know what a great event it is , thank you. Looking forward to being there next year !!!! Martin

the sherman at 8:50 is the french variant with the long 90 mm gun lol you can tell by the muzzle brake its wierd

At 26:50 the stug actually did serve in the Africa corps. Look up of Facebook stug d restoration and you'll see how it was restored

Iron, the Sherman at 9:30 was an M50 Super Sherman, an Israeli post-WWII modification on the M4A3 and M4A4 chassis. It's just been painted to look like a US WWII-era vehicle.

Have you seen the Reading Airshow? It's like this but more planes than vehicles and you can ride the planes :)

Holy shit visiting here is going on my bucket list.

I've always wanted to go to this. But I know I'd empty my savings account. To bad you didn't film more surplus.

(!Bad english incoming!) The Mader III has 2 variants. The Mader III in War Thunder is the first Version of the Mader III and the Mader III in the Video is the later version named Mader III Ausführung M. The Mader III Ausführung M used a german Pak 40 and not the russian 7,62cm fieldgun. But i cant remember why they put the Canon further in the back. I believe they wanted to prevent the overhang of the barrel of the gun but i am not sure.

The firefly had a 17 pounder, the one in this video looks to be a super Sherman with the 90mm gun

It is a m51 super Sherman Israely tank

m50 super Sherman, it's not an American tank. it's from the IDF and developed in 1949. fielded in 1950 it was one of two Sherman variants that the IDF used until 1990. this guy just wanted to paint it like it was in WW2

Its actually the M-50/ M-51 Super Sherman

This is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. Too bad its far too expensive to find a place to stay in britain.

It's a great show, the only thing that ruin's it for us exhibiters is the public walking round in white t-shirts and flip flops getting in the way . Make the effort and get dressed up guys and when you see or hear vehicles coming get right out the way.

Haigs I thought it was a Sherman firefly due to the larger gun and the extension on the back of the turret so you could put the radio there to stop the recoil of the canon from launching the breech back into the radio but then again the radio house on the firefly was a box and that is more curved so I don't know
