    I have been watching: what I eat in day videos, and a lot of the themes tend to be portion-based, heavily counted, and/or replacements. This is the first video I have viewed that is based on energy for the body, proper fuel, and nutrients and eating things you like. Thank you for reminding me what is truly important.

    This is a very nice comment! I am also very happy to see somebody explain in terms of how they feel and what they do in a day rather than focusing on macros. Also I like that she is not super focused on calories! As calories are measured by combustion, we humans do no combust, we metabolise which is not exactly the same process.

    Great video and great menu, but surely 65g of carbs does not seem right, as 1 bagel alone has approx. 49 carbs; a very small portion of rice has 50g (plus) of carbs; not to mention honey, jam, whey product, etc. Did I misunderstand Tia-Clair's counting. Apologies in advance, if I got it wrong.

  • @PathkeeperOfficial

    @PathkeeperOfficial

    2 жыл бұрын

    @port nut First let’s establish that every professional athlete in the world has a professional coach. Michael Jordan had a coach. Mike Tyson had a coach. Serena Williams and Christiano Ronaldo have coaches. In fact, most pro athletes have several coaches. A baseball pitcher in the MLB will have a pitching coach, a hitting coach, a strength coach, etc. Coaches exist because an athlete’s energy must be primarily focused on improving their skills through practice. They don’t have time to get advanced degrees in exercise science, do research on the competition, scout the playing field, or stay up to date on the newest training methods. Tia has to practice CrossFit all day. She needs a coach who doesn’t have to CrossFit all day so that he can program her workouts, recovery, nutrition, travel, and everything else that goes into competing at the highest level. She’s not so good at CrossFit that she doesn’t need a coach, she’s so good at CrossFit in part BECAUSE she has a good coach. It’s not like he just started coaching her after she was already winning, dumbass.

  • @PathkeeperOfficial

    @PathkeeperOfficial

    2 жыл бұрын

    @port nut the question was never whether or not you should have a coach. You are not a professional athlete. Your “30 years of experience” are still not even close to her level. And if you did, you would most likely have a coach. Stay on topic here champ.

    Hi you can cook the dal in slow cooker and carry in a tharmos with you. Package dal is not good. Use lentil with husk and without husk 1:1 ratio, spices salt,paper, little bit turmeric and cumin, chopped tomatos, onion and garlic. Cook on low 3 hrs / or high 1 hr. Eating fresh food will give you more nutritional value and energy.

    With a busy training schedule like hers and considering that she is currently tracking, it is much more efficient to do that with packaged foods. The food industry has come a long way and you can get a lot of pre packaged foods without the junk.

    How many carbs do you consume in a day? The reason I ask, when you were giving a rundown of how much protein, carbs and fats you consume overall in a day towards the end of your video it showed 135 protein and 65 carbs. Are those only the carbs after your workout sessions, dinner carbs?
