That sensor sitting right on top of the turbo though. Whats the temp difference? Seems to closed to all the heat....

How does it sound when on cruise control on the highway? Does it drone?

A little confused, but is this an intake itself? Does this work with OEM intake?

If I have an hks bov do I have to worry about changing it or anything or not ?

Colton Conroy Roush Performance Cat-Back with a TB Performance Products Catless Downpipe

Aftermarket CAI's are woirthless and make minimal power, less than 2-3hp. Unless the air scoup is protruding 8"+ in front of the bumper area in the airstream, its no good. Flow dynamics are huge when engineering things and this product/ideamakes me LOLOLOL!!!!!

I remember owning a gutless 4cyl that sneezes a lot but doesnt go anywhere when I was a kid

@@ryanm1466 I'd I have a steeda cai and the whole intake tube is like 50% bigger and much straighter than the stock tube. The stock has lots ot bends and it shrinks down pretty small in the middle

Serves relatively the same purpose, to eliminate the heat from the engine bay going into the intake. The big mouth pulls air from outside the car while the cowl intake completely eliminates the filter being inside the engine bay all together. At that point it comes down to the style that you want. Plus the cowl-intake makes 3x the turbo noises. So if you are a fan of rad rice, this is the route for you. If not, the set-up you mention is good as well. It’s all preference.

Ryan don't get one it's a waste of $300, the car takes in more air then the turbo needs and cooling the air is pointless since it's a turbo it has the intercooler, once it hits the turbo it gets hotter and hits the intercooler, no need for a stupid big mouth unless you want the look

This looks and sounds like an awesome concept, but maintenance of the filter is going to be a pain in the ass. I don't see a convenient way to remove the filter to clean it without removing the cowl.

John Stockelman cowl is easy to remove and it’s going to stay cleaner up there. It’s not like air filter cleaning is a monthly process

11:59 there’s turbo flutter upon acceleration. The turbine (and really the turbo in its entirety) needs to be examined)

It’s at the proper “full” level . The coolant reservoir isn’t supposed to be completely full on a focus

@@calebdutka3285 it also sits at a slanted angle kinda, hard to explain but it doesnt "look" full cuz full doesnt mean the whole reservoir is 100% full, it has a full line

Partially agree but also disagree when you have a good exhaust set up. My milltek turbo back with out resonators sounds about as good as it gets. 0 drone, no raspy high pitch "honda" sound, and deepens it up a little. Definitely not the best 4 banger exhaust note out there for sure but you can make it work

But it has an intercooler?... You guys over the pond will buy into anything 😂😂😂

@@WPTUNED yes air goes into the turbo then through the intercooler before going into the engine. My thinking is why would you not want the air going into the turbo to be as cool as possible, if its cooler going into it it should be cooler coming out by comparison thus helping the intercooler as much as possible how is that a bad thing? It should not be an either or situation it should be a both situation...meaning having both should be better than one or the other. Every little thing helps. Also the intake tract is much shorter helping spool time and throttle response, again not bad thing. When you have an upgraded turbo the benefits are going to be even better. Theyre not going to put an intake like this on anything stock did you not hear the sounds it makes? Do you really think a manufacturer is going to put something that loud into a car from the factory? They do things to try and quieten the intake not make it insanely loud. If car a has intake temps of 100 degrees...it goes into the turbo and gets heated up to xxxxx degrees before being cooled down again by the intercooler to xxxx degrees....car b has intake temps of 70 going into the turbo...the air coming out going into the intercooler to be cooled down before going into the engine on car b is going to be cooler than car a...which makes the intercooler work that much better. The hotter it is outside the better this effect is going to be. There will be far less heat soak with this intake in normal stop and go driving. The hotter intake temps are the hotter charge temps are and its the same visa versa Anything that brings down intake temps AND/OR charge temps is a good thing and can only help. Improved spooling and throttle response, cleaner looking engine bay and awesome sounds are just a bonus. Just because these cars originated overseas dont make you guys the only people who know anything about them
