There's demand of ownership work primarily in product companies making it a human job. I can guarantee it's not capable of debugging production issues that humans can take hours in a group. Overall this thing won't scale.

Ishan's argument that "Full stack engineers" are safe itself makes me feel this ai is pretty dumb. An ai replacing full stack engineers is useless. Chatgpt in itself cannot do great things, it's just another tool like how programming is. This devin will also be one.

It's the first model, after all. Can't be perfect right off the bat. But in like 5 or 6 years, it might be ready for some entry-level jobs.

@@subhamsingh7627 it's the same thing as how autopilot was a thing for airplanes. Engineers can get more productive. No company will replace their entire staff with some software. It's very hard to keep instructing a software. There will be a demand of human to do the job. Same goes for all professions - musicians, video editors, animators.

You LOL Influencers are trying to sell their courses, they are not absolutely wrong but selling courses by creating fear among freshers is not the right way and is against ethics. Guys if you really want's to understand about Devin watch Mehul Mohan's or Hitesh Choudhary's explanation on this. I have been following Hitesh from the beginning of my career (almost 7 years) and I have never seen him using these tactics I feel his review is Genuine.

people like him are using fear to sell their content, Devin cant fully replace software engineers, it will be used as a tool to make engineers jobs easier, maybe the pay for software engineers will reduce due to the release of Devin but it won't replace software engineers anytime soon, its true people will need to upskill themselves but let your personal growth be the motivation of up-skilling yourself and not fear inspired but such people.

AI has already replace many 😅 many engineers are going for MBA because even in IITs packages are quite low for core branches max you can earn is 2.5 lakh per month .

@@__SINGH__S 100 k in Canada if it is offered in Toronto than you cannot even live a middle class life . Canada is really expensive. It’s better to have a small business rather than working in corporate . I know people working 12 hrs a day for earning 2 lakh rs per month .

I pay 1100$ for it every month including insurance and everything. I own a $500k house, which I pay around $3000 monthly. Around $700 for groceries for my whole family. Let’s say $500 for other expenses. Thats total of $5300 in expenses, my family income is more than $15k per month.
