Join me for talk about this Langlitz Leathers custom Timberline in medium weight cowhide.
I’ve had the jacket for about 2.5 years now. It still needs more breaking in!

Definitely a racer style jacket for sporting on a motorcycle ride & perhaps some casual use around the town.Because of the slick lines & look you will attract some attention with-out doubt.

Yeah it does stand out. I like that but I could see it being polarizing
Nice jacket. My ‘heavy weight’ cascade is now 13 years old. I’m 59. I won’t live long enough to properly break it in.

Good to know what you like!
Well, without elbow patches I would say that is perfect, under radar but awesome Jacket...still prefer 613SH 😎

Hey Dan! Yeah I could see that take. I really like the elbow patches but kinda wish I had gotten the chest to be cleaner without that stitching across.
It’s a beautiful jacket 👍Get on your bike and ride in the rain. Perfect. Collar needs to be broken in some more. I found my bike jackets break in faster when I ride in the rain. Try putting a heavy book to flatten out the collar. I kind of got away from those mandarin collars.

Yeah a book or weight plate or something will do it. Will give that a shot soon
Funny...day 10 from my last crash and I'm still considering hitting the hospital (road rash). Glad I bought a dress jacket (Iron Heart) for going out at night. Of course, I ride 99% of the time and rarely drive my truck.

Dang well depending on how it looks you definitely don’t want an infection to set in or any of the other horrors. Good luck with it either way
Great jacket my only complaint is there’s no hand pockets but otherwise it’s awesome

Sure I feel that. In this case I opted for no pockets for a streamlined look
I really like this jacket. very functional!

Yeah we’re definitely in the cool morning warm afternoon part of the year. Gonna be HOT soon
For us here in Europe a leather jacket can only be sold as a true biker jacket when it has approved elbow & shoulder protectors and room for one in the back. Otherwise it may not be sold in a bikers clothing store. Fyi. The looks of this jacket is nice. Would remove those dangling leather zipper pullers...especially when riding my bike.

Yeah I don’t ride so my recommendations are made without safety in mind. Though I do know folks who wear leather jackets for it, of course it’s riskier than wearing armored stuff. I like the dangling pulls on the sleeve zips here but hid the ones in the chest zips 😁
This is a great Langlitz. Personally I don't find it too biker except for the elbow pads. Tbh, I think it catches people eyes because of the great fit and the nice shiny brass zipper. Not sure if it's the same where you are, but most men I see wearing leather jackets have ill-fitting ones which are baggy and loose - just makes everything look sloppy. And the fact that your overall look is well put-together just sets you apart.

Yeah good point, I’m certainly the only person wearing one 99% of the time I’m out and about
Great jacket! tho probably suited more for casual wear rather than biking?

Well it’s made by Langlitz so riding is in its DNA, even if I don’t ride. Of course it doesn’t have armor like modern styles
Purely subjective but what ruins this jacket for me is the front yoke above the chest pockets. Looks lovely on you overall though, great fit.

Thanks man. You actually hit on something I didn’t mention in the video, but if I could go back I would probably have not gotten it made with the yoke. It struck me as part of the Timberline design that would be cool to keep, but on a zip front jacket it doesn’t work quite the same as it does on a pull over
