Money. Lots and lots of money. Just about anyone can build and engine that will go out there and kick ass once it's consistency and staying together that takes the money. Aluminum rods, lots of boost, quality tunes, a whole lot and I'm guessing they aren't overly friendly on the street. I bet most of those guys have at least a couple engines with them at times. If you get a chance there was an article a while back on what top fuel guys bring with them and it was insane. They bring like 3 or 4 semi trailers worth of stuff not including the car. Honestly don't know how they afford it I'm guessing sponsors. There's that joke. How do you make a small fortune in racing? Start with a big fortune.

I'm not surprized they breakdown these things are on the "Ragged Edge" of performance, chances are it was overheating it doesn't take much, & with a race bike they take some punishment in the very short time they are used & there are an awful lot of parts & any one of them can stop the bike performing. I have a N/A 72 Suzuki GT750 that I have just got into 7s with, but mine's just for fun & pissing off big money RR bikes & those that cannot ride them because it's road legal. What an excellent channel, I subscribe.
