I belong to Sikh religion and it’s taught to us from the start that every religion is equal and this story is about “langar” known as free food, anyone can come to eat beyond their cast, colour and race. You can get langar in every Gurudwara and this is the main thing taught by our GURU’s. I am really happy that this story is reaching to thousands and millions of people :)

I am from Delhi, and I have visited the place 2 times. Just because its free, does not mean the food is bad. Actually it is quite nice. There is something divine about the place. Waheguru ji ka Khalsa, Waheguru ji ki Fateh!

I am Muslim and i go to golden temple 2 times and i love the environment people working there they are so kind ❤️ i am shocked that so many people visits their but never food over Sikhs have really very big heart they are proving that humanity still exist and they provide food for free no from so many times I hope everyone thinks like. Not only in the Golden Temple, but anyone who visits any Gurudwara during feeding hours, will get free food, irrespective of caste, creed, religion, nationality and there are many Gurudwaras speard all over the world, including countries like USA, UK, Canada, etc. Now that is called Selfless Service. Hope, more people visit there, because that is the true culture of India and message that India is spreading all over the world.

India is one my favorite countries and I’m a bit more proud cuz my actual country (birthplace), Nepal is its neighbouring country.😻❤ The traditions, cultures and ethnicities are very beautiful.❤🇮🇳 Lots of Love for India from The United Kingdom!🇬🇧❤🇮🇳

Bro there is a town called Udupi in karnataka but it's just underrated even here u get free lunch in almost all the small temples and lunch and dinner in the main temple of Udupi everyday for free and obviously everyone and anyone is welcome. So yea it's kinda common in south. Just underrated.

I am Punjabi and I've had meals manyy times, it's delicious and everyone is super kind, and everything is so hygienic

This is what i really like about my relegion , In punjab (indian state)there are gurdwara's(temple) where "langar"(food) are given free, And the reason of giving everything free is a holy story of guru(basically teacher related to god)"Guru Nanak Devji" (God of sikh religion) The Story is"Once a day Nanak's Father give Nanak 20 rupees (Currency) for there household work, but in the way nanak see some groups of monk in the way of finding food, So nanak spend the whole money for free (which means a great mercy, as his family was not rich, money really matters and important for his family) So nanak sentenced a line "Kirat karo,(work hard and honestly) Naam jappo(always remember god) Wannd chhako(Share with the needy) ~Guru Nanak Devji

I’m Sikh and I just want to correct somethings This is a Sikh temple built my our 4th and 5th gurus The “donations” are actually called maya and it’s basically a part of the culture. Its kind of a tradition to put money in the golak before bowing infront of our current guru

The volunteership shown by these people is beyond description!❤❤ Hats off to the tons of golden-hearted people working out there!🎩🎩 Thankyou for sharing the story of such people from our India to the world all over!🇮🇳🇮🇳

Visited Dubai Guru Nanak Darbar (One of the biggest Gurudwara in whole of GCC) in March, and was also blessed with the free langar, heartily appreciate the work of whole Sikh community, and such a wonderful place to meditate and get yourself filled with the divine energy!

My cousin grandfather Kandhari sahib is the one who created that gudwara in Dubai.

I never took it this way because I thought that this must be all around the world, you made me proud

The golden temple is like 25km away from my home and it's adorable and you can get free food in any gurudwara on the planet and also you can find sikhs in any part of the world where people need help but sadly some people adress us as terrorists including our government and media and the biggest example of it is the recent farmers protest

This concept of free food is known as 'langar' started by GURU NANAK DEV JI, the founder of Sikhism 550 years back... And going to Golden temple is the world's best feeling.... ਨਾਨਕ ਨਾਮ ਚੜ੍ਹਦੀ ਕਲਾ ਤੇਰੇ ਭਾਣੇ ਸਰਬੱਤ ਦਾ ਭਲਾ।

During Covid , at many places food was served Humanity is here Its really a. heaven on earth welcome for all 🙏🏻🙏🏻

It's not just golden temple but all other gurudwara sahibs also where food is served for free.
