Thanks for the video. Would love more info on the e-PPG such as…How much to purchase complete; the weight of the unit; any distributors in the US and so on (or is it purchased directly). Have been to the website but not a lot of details available. The Benefit of Open PPG is that they are USA local with lots of details and an active flying community. I don’t want to discount this unit as I already like the “Fly Products”-like frame better (I have flown the Eclipse). It would be great if more e-PPG products started to be offered. I also grew tired of the 2 stroke maintenance, smell, and reliability issues. Thanks for any info.

@tucker got just tested the open source sp140 for duration flight. They claimed between 40 and 60 minutes. Real life is he measured between 18 and 40 minutes at best, depending on wing and flight style. Check his video. Cheers

I think the future of two strokers is gone, kaput ! It´s obvious that paramotors should be fully electric by now. Even the guys at Vittorazi know that ICE systems are finished. I love the idea 100% A 20 minute system but ultra light for seniors and any other pilot that today fears a back injury is a must . Just to take off and get to ridge. That´s it.

Future of 2 strokes is gone?? They will be around for many many more years. The ideal setup is having a battery powered unit and a gas unit. Hopefully within the next decade they can get 2 hours of flight time out of these. Then I believe most people will make the switch. I don't fly yet but if I get into this sport I'm really undecided on a battery unit or a gasser.

The difference between gas & electric paramotor is the same as the difference between gas & electric cars. One cannot replace the other when it comes to range.

Hi, I give you a thumbs up. but nothing is new here. Many DIYers have used e foil trottle years ago and noticed that it is nice for prototypes but never for a series. How can you bear responsibility without building something for man-carrying aviation sports according to the rules of the state of technology?

I know you are an ambassador for the brand but the numbers they gave you and math doesn't really add up. You say 87kgs of thrust but on the site it's says 210A ESC which at most would produce 20kw of power. So no where near 87kgs of thrust. It's using the same motor we develop so we know what it can do. On top of that is using a 130cm prop vs 140cm so its would be less thrust for the same power vs 140cm. That's just the thrust the other info like "guaranteed" flight time is just not mathematical true. I would just be careful taking numbers at face value, It's just one of those things that once one seller it's hard saying numbers that are really exaggerated and then the other sellers are forced to say the same number higher than It ends up with everybody kind of just lying or exaggerating about the specs. Not the path I'd like to see the electric paramotors to go down. I think what would be really valuable video for people It's just take the motor, weigh it and then fly it with your regular paramotor wing and see what the numbers are when the battery completely just discharged. That's a good way to get real numbers at least for flight time so you don't have to rely on trusting the manufacturers. Good over view looking forward to more electric content.

Thanks for your comment! The numbers on the website have all been tested and are accurate but I’ll for sure make a video soon of a full 100% to zero battery flight and show how much flight time I get 🤙🏽
