Die Maschine deserves more praise imo. Like yeah, it’s not the best zombies map. But as a reimagined version of a previous map, it hold a lot of features that turns this map into never ending fun 😁🔥

I always enjoyed CW zombies. Not my top zombies game imo...but first one I beat all EE on solo. Had lots of fun. Tho I always hated outbreak 😂

It's sad that Cold War is dead, I hope COD brings back all the bundles that u paid for on that game transfers it to cod 2024 but ik it won't happen 😒

I feel the same way with operators/characters. I love having set characters. I would get exited to see who i was. And all of the great quotes. Hopefully treyarch has something up there sleeves for gulf war.

I don't know if it's still possible, but when the game was first out, you didn't need to make it to the chopper for it to count as beating the map. As long as you made it outta the lab it would give you the rewards. That was back when the game first came out

Agree on the operator thing. I think the only character in the game I actually felt something for was raptor 1🤣

Adding onto the Operator System needing to go/be overhauled. Like you said, we should have a set crew with the ability to play as any operator if you want. My addition to this is that they can make skins for the crew, and find a way to integrate the operators into the story better(like as the DLC season continues certain operators actually get story related quotes, and will actually lightly banter with the crew). I fully believe Treyarch wanted to have a crew for Cold War, but just didn't have the time(and were perhaps unsure of who it should consist of). Vanguard had even less time than Cold War, and far less man power so it's also understandable there(plus it was set in the past, so they'd all be dead or too old by time we get to the Cold War). MWZ works better without a crew due to how its structured, so I am fine with no crew there(plus its in the future/modern times so the characters would be irrelevant to Treyarch's next game). I hope Treyarch have been cooking up a crew for Gulf War, but if not, I at least hope the Operators actually have a personality, and are actually a part of the story.

2:40 thats how world war z does it. You can either play as the 4 characters specific for that chapter or you can play as the other characters that isnt for the chapter

I remember when the Easter egg was just figured out and everything and people were trying to get the lowest possible round to do it I was on console so I couldn’t record my run but I still did it for fun and got it done on round 16 even tho it was unofficial I held the lowest round for like 20 mins 😂

I always thought we should have a main cast of characters then once you beat the Easter egg on the map your then able to switch to operators IF YOU WANT or stick to the 4 rotating “zombies” characters as one of the rewards for completing the Easter egg

I loved Cold War Zombies, I used to play it nonstop for high rounds 😔

If u get the wonder weapon from the box before u open the first portal the Portal for the lightning upgrade will be there and u can open that one to get the lighting done and other parts of the Easter egg

Only issue I had with Cold War was the weapons. The game itself was really good

I already beat the EE for this map so I decided to go in with randoms and help them with it but it kept glitching and the container wouldn't open.

The 38 second swing on the wrench was crazy

I love Cold War zombies, It released 4 years ago and I'm still playing it, I enjoy playing CWZ more than BO3&BO4 zombies.

Going forward o like your ideas of optional operators but I think the ability to use operators should be locked behind a challenge of some sort. Like say if Cold War came out today make people do the Easter egg on a map to allow them to use operators on it and apply that to every map that releases during its life cycle

I’ve been playing cod zombies since waw and this map was my first attempt at a ee wr my first and only run was right after I knew all the steps did a lot of learning and trying but damn the time and skill it takes to achieve a wr is impressive af my time was around 36-38 minutes when the map first launched I did the coffee ee for the wonder weapon

I'd like an option of choosing to use skins or set characters like how Noah described. Have the Set Character mode be called "Story Mode" while the skins mode is "Standard Mode" or a better name I can't think of.

Cold War zombies is fire. Only game I’ve ever tried going for all the camos on, as they’re actually fun to level and grind on there. Was the last good zombies we got imo. After a few years of stuff like vanguard, no zombies in the next game, and now this weird DMZ zombies in mw3, we need some actual good round based zombies badly

Intel does NOT drop if you’re playing solo and you’ve collected it all. It does technically drop and exist if you’re playing co-op, but you can’t interact with it.

I think the quality of maps on CW is similar to that of WW2 zombies. First map is really good, second map is bad, third map is alright 4th is mid/bad. (I personally enjoyed doing the EE on frozen dawn but ik the general consensus is its a bad map). I will say that CW was definitely over-hated at launch, however firebase z being the first dlc didn't help.

Cold War was a good one. I spent tons of hours in that zombie mode

Armor system is way better in cold war, running to a station is the same adrenaline feel you get when having to run and get jug again. Armor is easily picked up from zombie drops and a field upgrade.

This map was fun. It doesn't compare to the quality that Black Ops 3 zombies had, that was in all honesty the best zombies would ever be. It's easier to say now given that, at least in my opinion, zombies and even call of duty as a whole is well past the point of being hopeless.
