there are about 4 different commercial magazines you can buy for (pistol) crossbows, about 6 if u count guys not selling commercially and many more if you include the 3D printed ones and other private builds we dont know of.

Hi, is the string correctly tied for a reverse crossbow? I see the drawstring is on the outer side of the cam in other reverse crossbows available

Doesn't the front section of your magazine rip off the vane on the bolts? Or, does it act like a ramp and deflect the bolt upwards as it passes?

No it's gapped off the rail so the vanes can pass through it

@@archery.customs Thank you for responding so quickly. Greetings from Scotland! There is a guy in Germany who is selling a brilliant miniature reverse-limb crossbow with a magazine. The only thing is his prices are beyond crazy. But his ideas are good. Look him up on his YT channel called: Andy's Solutions. kzread.info/dash/bejne/o4V2tsehZKTQgag.html. I am going to have a go at making a magazine for mine using his ideas. I have the standard-limb Supersonic Pistol X-Bow that he is demonstrating and I have the reverse-limb Supersonic X-Bow w/shoulder stock on backorder. He has quite a few videos covering the standard-limb crossbows. Some are quite amusing...

u need to make a notch at the end of the catch nut where the sring can slide but the arrows can't also enclose the front of the magazine so arrows ride down and line it with stainless so broadheads just slide down

I keep the front of the magazine open on purpose so I could load quicker it worked perfectly with the old build but when I put it on this one the arrows go all over the place haha.

@@archery.customs i meant open at the top. but closed directly in front of arrows, that way u have a surface like a track where arrows tips perfectly rest and slide down ,stainless lined so broadheads dont hook, , u can still load fron the top, and no dry fires , u dont have to rely on fletchings to hold the arrows, alsso the spring lever should be attached at the front offset to the track that way the back is open and easy to load, and made of spring steel, from an old saw or flexible plaster knife and should land 2/3 front the front, this is my setup, also i have track and oulley system to reduce pull force by a factor of 4 per hand, i have recurve because of reliability, pull 180

@@gustavcrossbow2805 I agree with the magazine those things would make it function better. Although I keep mine simple so it wouldn't take up a lot of space and be to bulky. But I use a compound because of its efficiency I am using technology of a stand up compound bow you shoot with your hands and I can produce more power than a 150 lbs recurve

@@archery.customs I think he'd brainstorm of a way to make it work and keep the overall look. He'll like seeing your idea as fan mail at least and be eager to be shown it's FEATURES!
