Nahkimov is stronger than Malta, the slower Malta planes means that Malta can take heavy losses it is possible to be deplaned, the Nahk cannot and will generally strike with full squads every time.

Major misconception: Malta is a COAL ship. This means that the average Joe can also choose to grind up and get it. That’s why I have actually seen deplaned Malta once in like 20 games😂

Tirpitz. I know, I know, Tirp is just a Bismarck that has torps, but she's really not, irl she was faster, heavier and better armored than Bismarck, and in the game, personally I think she's one of the best mid-high level BB"s out there, but I rarely see her anymore, I see Bismarck a lot, but not her.

Nakhimov is highly dependent on your enemies showing broadsides and remaining somewhat isolated, poorly positioned.

800 games in Benham. It isn't just OP, it is utterly broken. 150k dmg is a middling game. 268k is my absolute record. A 3 Benham div is hilarious at herding entire teams into corners of the map.

Definitely agree with the Nakimov. Three passes of its skip bombers took my Missouri from full health to the bottom of the ocean at the beginning of the battle. Our side had not even gotten within gun range of the enemy.

I think when we get at least one or two more lines of Hybrids BB/CV, we will see a change in Match Maker. I think Battle Cruisers should have their own listings in Match Maker personally. But yes, as someone who took a Erich Loewenhardt and 2 Ise div. Ya, the advantage was our team had was insane since the other team only had the CV. Take the Malta and 2 Louisiana.... let the reports flow.

Agreed 💯 % about balance to teams when it comes to hybrids, a Good Hybrid player, especially multiple on 1 team while as you said the other team doesn't get any. An almost unwinnable match

My only gripe in CBs, the past few seasons that is, is the excess of MARCEAUs/ KLEBERs allowed; 3. those need to be limited to 1 like other restricted ships. Won't have that this upcoming season, but I expect an overabundance of MOGADORs; just as bad. Would include the PAOLO EMILIO, but her rate of fire is kinda slow, both guns and torp reloading. And radar should handle her smoke since the PE needs to get REALLY close for her torp-runs.

About the Benham (I think I'm quite good with it): It has some weaknesses and if I see it in ranked in the hands of bad players it can end poorly very fast. Also with my Build and Adrenaline Rush I had the CD down to something like 52sec since more often then not I play very aggressive in the beginning and are nearly dead the rest of the game... XD Also you should take the Icehockey Player as captain if you have him (more HP).

speaking of nakhimov ... rocket plane nerf didnt happen to tune down how OP they were against dds. it was to ensure soviet bombers were better (because first line drop functions as rocket drop), while trying to hide it behind "we are listening to community feedback" but hey, thats just a theory

NOTICE: UK CVs: DIVE BOMBERS or as called here Carpet bombers: RULE CHANGE: Don't let these hit you from exact broadside, instead take them from about 25 degrees off of head or tail on. (Of course don't let them drop from exact head or tail on). REASON FOR 25 DEGREES ANGLING: The bombs drop at a "gliding angle" and thus the height of your ship comes into play so if he drops from exact broadside then many shells hit your broadside because of the angle that they drop. """No they don't glide""" but that description examples a drop angle rather than a vertical drop. The old general or basic rule is to force dive bombers to drop on you from an exact broadside and for all other CVs that remains correct BUT not for UK CVs. """YOU WANT TO BE""" at 25 Degrees off of dead head on or dead tail on to best defend yourself from a """UK dive bomber air attack""".

IMO satsuma should also be on this list. The accuracy + pen is just too devistating for most cruisers

I was in my Austin and it completely annihilated a complete Malta squadron before he even had a chance to drop on me. Something about that Austin AA.

The Malta's bombers are fun in many ways. I like the bombers in that they fly relatively low in altitude, so you can use islands as cover until the last possible moment before hitting enemy ships. Since i have the ship i am sure they will nerf her soon. On the down side her planes are slow and that can be frustrating to not only the player but the team friendlies and most do not understand how slow they are; hence, taking longer to get to the action zones.

@@mrmohammad8775 Start off at Tier 3-4 and learn the way the game works. American, Japaneese, and German ships are good starters. I had a lot of fun with the Tier 4 German Destroyer V-170 learning how to play destroyers (it has good guns and torpedos).

my top 5 busted:thee most busted atm balanced only by the quality of players playing it in a corner is Louisiana.then i would put Conde,Smalland,Malta(for the unavoidable ap bombers vs cls) and Shitimov( for the increased immunity duration while dropping and the alpha combined)

Do a supership tier list next put all superships into a board

Most of these ships are Tier 9 and above. I love the Malta, and would love to get the Benham. There are plenty of OP for their tier mid tier ships too like the Guilio Caesare, Yudachi, Bearn, Gremyasky, Kamikaze, OG Tier 7 Belfast, Tier 3 Super Cruiser St. Louis, and the Kaga. I was expecting one of those ships in this. If you are playing the same tier against these ships, tell me you don't feel uneasy going up against them, or feeling like a beast playing them against same tier and below.

I took out a Samaland with my lower tier Japanese DD over a 3 encounter running gun battle over a Cap. I was able to surprise it three times and get the drop.

You think they will ever buff the graf zep?

Malta is susceptible to MvR rocket snipe if he focuses. MvR with Kearsarge? You die once the hybrid attacks with CV. Sure u can roll with your BB cover but thats inviting enemy BB snipe and Malta has weak armor.

A Malta removed 75% HP from my T8 Irian in one drop. I was fully maneuvering, reinforced AA blazing, and in the AA bubble of two other ships. Thankfully we ended up winning because he didn't know how to play otherwise.

Malta chunks my Mino for 15 - 20k damage every run of those AP bombers

On console Pineda can dev strike full health DDs with it's skip planes.

Nakhimov and Malta gangsta until MvR rolls up and decides to CV snipe.

top 5 busted ships at higher tiers (no subs/cv's/hybrids) Smaland Conde Benham St Vincent Annapolis I think most unicums would agree with that

Malta and Nahkimov 😂I play my MvR just to quickly sink them at the start of a game. It takes 3 strikes and bye bye.

I had to check after you said it a few times, but the Malta is available for Coal not steel.

I have Devstruck DDs with Nakhimov Rocket plane's 18k dmg in a single strike vs a DD without detonation. The one i remember most he did nothing wrong, and it was only about a minute in,he took a few shells from another boat as I struck... just dead. I knew the thing was OP but that made me realize how disgusting it was. It just shouldn't exist in the form it does.

I'm pretty sure Benham concealment is quite junk for a torpedo boat, 5,9 km or something. And it's SLOW. The fact that it's so OP despite these limitations speaks volumes.

I think Smaland over Marceau on this list for sure.

Man, they wont nerf Malta. Thez can only exclude her from Armory. Why? Because that ship was available for real money, she was sold in shop.

Nothing what so ever to stop them from nerfing ships regardless if they've been sold for money or in game currency. They might try to avoid it in order to please some whales but I'd say the odds are definitely in favour of a nerf, once she's drained enough coal out of players.

For the average Potato player - Marceau is difficult to play. It's deadly in unicum hands.

I don't see how the Malta is supposed to be that broken. The torpedoes are insanely slow, anything going 28 knots can outrun them, the Carpet bombers hardly pen anything, it is really rare to even pen Cruisers. And the rocket planes are only really good for DD hunting.

Honestly I am a bit surprised that the Napoli is not on here. As far as crusiers go, that ship is overpowered. You have armour, smoke, speed and SAP secondaries. The guns are a bit meh but AP still ruins your day. And you don't need to be playing 4D Chess in it either. Easy to play, tanky, hard to kill... I would have included it over the Marceau. Marceau is a great ship but you really need to know what you are doing for it to work.

Nah, it's bad at range, so needs to get close to shine. But it has no hydro, not the best manoeuvrability, and cruiser torp protection which makes it VERY susceptible to torps. No radar, poor dpm, so not great for the team. And now gets badly chunked by more and more T10 BBs. It's a fun ship to play, but usually has 3 bad games for every one where it manages to get close enough to shine.

@@oldmangames9292 Ohh no, I agree on this poiint. 0 value to the team, that is for sure. There it keeps with the italian line in general. I do agree with the torp protection and the chunked part for sure but we are talking about a cruiser here, not a BB. 95% of cruisers have bad torp protection and unless it is Soviet, T10 BBs tend to like shooting at any cruisers. It is not perfect to be sure but the sheer tanky-ness makes up for a lot of problems. You do have to push a bit forward with it, not suicide range, but you need to be up close to make the most of it. The secondaries compensate for the lack of DPM and the smoke and 8.8km smoke fire penalty means that most times you can get out of trouble without too much issue. Don't get me wrong, you need to think, but compared to the Marceau, this is far easier to make work. The base point is that, as far as Cruisers go, this is, in my opinion, one of the worse ones you would want to see on the enemy team. You can tank quite a bit and if you come up against any cruiser, your chances of winning are quite high.

Wait till you get a game with 2 cvs, 2 hybrid battleships, a Tone, and a deWitt

I'm honnestly surprised that the FDR isn't on that list, in my opinion its quite possibly stronger than the malta

It's actually weaker, yes the strikes do a ton of damage and the planes are tanky but once the FDR loses planes it doesn't gain them back. The Regen rate is really long. The planes are very slow, Also it has a 30 second cooldown between strikes. Malta has faster planes that are quite tanky, it's planes have a very fast Regen rate so even if you shoot some down there are more replacements. Malta is a CV with no downsides and it's AP bombs negate the existence of light cruisers existing in game.

You don't have either ship I'm guessing if you think the FDR is the strongest CV. Nor do I, however I've seen my clanmates actually play ships like the FDR as have I and that thing is not an easy ship to play and can be measureably countered.

* Air superiority made by WG, made it even into SLM top 5 broken ships to occupy 3 out of 5 slots, even "better", golden and silver Medal awarded to pure CVs.

Meh nakhimov. It's trivially easy to deal with it in DDs (but then again slm was never one to know CVs). Midway on the other hand.

What a surprise...2,5 CV in a top 5 overpowered ship.

I remember grinding my soul away to get the Benham during the event.

What I hate about the Nakhimov is that its attack rate gets faster as you get closer. Surely getting closer to a CV should put it at a disadvantage? But no, It sits behind an island, chunking you faster and faster, while youre just sailing towards that corner waiting to get one shot off..(which you know wont kill him if by some miracle you survive to get there) Where is its weakness?

@@armando2814 A case can be said for either one. In the case for Delaware, it is the closest thing to Louisiana in the line and its bombs are better for the upcoming CBs season. As much as I don't want hybrids in CBs as the next guy, these boats will be a headache.

Where is my beloved Guilio Cesare a tier 5 BB that can punch way above its tier. IMO its a tier 6.5 at tier 5 and it isnt available for a reason. Tier 5 ranked is so easy with the Guilio

For the Benham? Not really worth it unless they circle above you. DDs detection by air is typically lower than their AA range, keeping AA off prevents you from being spotted much longer. Add on top of that, the fact that most DDs don’t have great AA. So it’s better to just leave it off and try to break line of sight unless the CV is circling you

You cannot balance a CV that was made to abuse every hidden CV mechanic in game (and without those hidden mechanics rest of CVs would be unplayable)

fuck me i WANT the Benham, soooooo much! even more so than the Musashi! its so up my alley as well.. But oh well, never gonna get it, but yeah. would be SO freaking fun!

Personally I don't like mirror matches; I prefer when the opponent has different ships, but at the same rank

Im suprised actually that Franklin D roosevelt isnt on this list, i mean, 4 torps 2 planes per dive run, its 8 torps, if you aim perectly you get easy 20k if not more damage by just the torps alone, then you also cause flooding and if they dont have their repare kit ready, well rip that ship

CVs are so busted that OP ships like the St. Vincent can't even make the list.

I'm surprised Petropavlovsk and Smolensk aren't in that list. In fact most of the Soviet ships are hopelessly overpowered.

Twice now you've called Malta a steel ship in a video My problem I find with Malta is you get get focused and dumpstered it happen three games in a row.. Next patch we get the operations allowing tier 9 and 10 back in for asymmetrical warfare I bet British and Russian tier 10 carriers will dominate that as far as the CV goes and the hybrids. At least there's no super ships in it and you can play tier 6 through 10 PVE and not have to deal with the drama or the matchmaker issues with randoms.

Lol, none.... Let's list some broken ships -> Imperator Nikolai I ( used to be so much fun smashing Fuso's and bullying them around the map taunting to stay and fight me in my tier IV ). Gremyashchy - > Give me a server with WoW's classic and let me burn those pesky bbabies to death ( after winning my cap battle and taking out the enemy DD off course... ). Blyscawica -> Give me that old server damnit, my second most played DD once... before the influx of crying BBabies thought steatth fire required to much teamwork to counter. Arizona -> Sit back and enjoy your premium sigma baby... or it used to at least? I miss playing those pixels I paid for... ( some were given ofc, had to get into the 'ship collector' group so I could get an extra flag ofc... and I was in the top 5% of battles played before the game went live... those were the days ). I laughed so hard when I saw flolo's latest player numbers video, it's all going as I predicted when I heard they were serious about thinking cv's were 'fine' now and submarines were something they were determined to sell to people so it had to be in the game. WeGreedy messed up a really great game, it's sad really.

Most Hybriddship i see in randoms almost exclusivly play the cv role and dont take part in the gungame at all. So jeah its not fair when one team has 2 hybrids .... cause the will loose the HP Trade massivly...

MM is completely BROKEN. It's an absolute mess. My last Random Match (over a month ago) the match was 4 DD, 2 SUB, 1 CV, 1 BB and 4 CA/CL. That's 7 ships I may NEVER see...1 BB???? You would have to be completely delusional to think that match up is better than WOWS in 2018.

Their technology is different.

Petro, Smolenks, Kremlin, Subs and basically every single HE spammer

I have no issues dealing with Malta. I can't call these ships overpowered but I hate Asashio and Ragnar the most. Both ships are bad game design and in case of Ragnar it is confusing due to the fact that Smaland had already proven that radar+heal is not a good combo in terms of game balance before Ragnar was introduced. And Ragnar has even better radar ((((

Notice: the top two most overpowered ships in the game are CVS, not including superships. What does that say?

SLB, I get that you just make these lists for fun and all but let's just get one thing out of the way. You might as well just put every single CV on this list. FDR's busted, Haiku is busted, MVR is busted, Midway is busted, Immelman is busted, and then there's the tier 8 ones like Kaga, Etc. As for the surface ships, I believe you left out a few of the original busted ones that are on the naughty list for very good reasons. The Big Four for this would be Kamikaze triplets, Gulious Caesar, Belfast (the og t7 one, and Musashi (the only t10 ship that's a T9). Maybe it's a boring list if you just list those ships but they really are the most busted ones in the game. As for currently available busted ships, you should also take a look at Ragnar. It's one of the few DD's that really can just about do it all including easily 1v1 a Marceau and being something that a Benham would be terrified to run into.

Yeah. I have to agree with, Ryan. FDR, Nahkimov and Malta for tier 10 are busted and the super CVs... but the rest? You need to spec your ships for AA (on the ones that have a good AA base already). Any American, Russian, Pan-Asian and British CAs, chew up planes, and the Pan-American CAs aren't too shabby either. A lot of BBs but especially, American and the German (Preussen and Mecklenburg) and a few British and French BBs are pretty damned good with regards to AA. Let us not forget the Pan-European DDs as well. Smalland, Halland and Friesland. Also, MOST of the tier 11 CAs and MOST of the tier 11 BBs are pretty obnoxious (of course the, Germans got screwed out of that...again...) and I would consider them OP as well. Let's not forget subs in the hands of any decent player....

That's how it usually is. Especially with SLM, he judges OPness based on how annoying he finds it playing against them as opposed to actually looking at a ship's battle influence. That is painfully obvious when he always somehow ranks nakhimov above midway or hakuryu.

Have both Marceau and Benham and don't consider either "overpowered". They're both very good if you do your part but I much prefer my Somers to either. I hate the hybrid ships, subs, and CVs.
