I mean, by the time I got to 500 battles my WR was 55% Steadily over time, and in no small part due to playing at a tier 3-4 tiers higher than my average, that has dropped to 54%. So yeah, 47% means you've lost about 40 battles you should have won and didn't, and a further 140-200 battles you could have probably won, but didn't. Once you have more than 1,000 battles, your stats actually have some decent weight to them already, provided you know how to interpret them. So here are the three most important questions I can ask you: What ship class is your modal average (ship class you played the most) and what tier is your mean average, and what tier is your modal average? I'm expecting you to say something like Battleship, mean tier 4.8, modal tier 6 or 7. If you'd prefer, just leave me your username, I'll search your stats myself and then give suggestions based on your statistical data.

@@kcnichols8968 My advice, play more USN, especially the CA and DD. The CL take a lot more game sense to play well, and BBs are not friendly to beginners in the current meta, so I would abandon them completely for now. Just play your premium BBs every so often and do your daily wins, but mainly focus getting the Des Moines and Gearing if you don't already have them

Thank you Jingles for featuring my replay. I hope everyone had as much fun watching the video as I had playing this battle. I had not even paid attention to the team kill by the ennemy team :) I get the critics for not using premium consumables. I would usually use them but I was broke after buying a new ship. As a free-to-play player I sometimes run low on credits. Have fun everyone.

Also, your lag-spikes reminded me of when I played WoWS during beta - the servers were a bit wonky and I didn't have the best internet connection at the time, so having ships zoom around and get my ship 'stuck' on water was everyday experience. Nostalgia!

@@mikey1978416 I got one better, I was in the Kurfurst, and did 150k damage and killed their Stalingrad and carrier while our Stalingrad nuked their Kremlin with 9 citadels, think I was the only one on our team to die. I should have sent Jingles my replay, unfortunately I don't have it anymore :P Still very well played, much easier fight in that situation with a Kurfurst than a Thunderer! :D

Remember Jingles and others used to say in early WoT videos the first 2000 matches is still the learning phase, but that was really because of the maps and angling (back when gold ammo cost gold). In warships map design isn't as complicated since no ridges, high and low terrain. But yeah 2000 battles is pretty new or at least very casual as in your case.

@@Ushio01 I would say until 1,000 battles is new, after that you should expect someone to at least have a reasonable idea of what they are doing. You could also maybe say 500 battles, at least as a point where someone should have a grasp of the basics of the game.

That opening with the April Fools clan brawls, I got in that same situation in the Kurfurst...killed the enemy's carrier and Stalingrad before dying, did about 150k damage alone while surrounded by 4 enemies. Meanwhile our Stalingrad nuked their Kremlin with 9 citadels. Good times...

for some reason it seems like he didnt get the ramming damage, if you look at a few seconds prior to the ram he had 139k and that is the same number in the post battle results

Just in case this is a genuine question and not a joke, you can switch instantly between fully zoomed out and the "scope" zoom by pressing shift. However sometimes I do scroll to medium zoom, usually when doing a very close range drive-by.

Last time I was this early there were only two nations in WoWs.

And remember boys and girls, the Prinz Eugen was an extremely hardy ship. They had to actually scuttle her to make her sink after she took two, *TWO* , atomic bomb tests at close range.

Actually, she wasn't scuttled. Her irradiated hull was towed to Kwajalein Atoll to be used as conventional bombing and/or gunnery target but she capsized due to an undetected leak in the hull. Apparently it was impractical to salvage her due to radiation so she remains there to this day with part of her stern above water.

Remember just because there’s been a carrier rework it doesn’t explain away raging incompetence

One time I was in my KV-1 in WoT Blitz, and I was able to get 5/7 kills on my team. One of the enemy KV-2 players messaged me a congratulations, and offered an invitation to their clan. It's nice to see in WoWS that what some players lack in skill, others rebalance that with some sportsmanship.

The logic behind the premium in wows is that you earn more credits in one game to offset the costs of the consumables... except if you die in the first minute of the game without doing anything...

When you have to be up in 4 hours but jingles just posted

Regarding the Asashio; Don't underestimate the ability of people in this game to have over 5k games played with 40% win rates. I came across a dude who threw our game the other day so naturally i checked his states to find that his most played ship, the Omaha, had 700 battles played with a 38% win rate. I was dumbfounded. I don't know how to explain that. I didn't know people actually existed like this.

I run matchmaking monitor so I quickly see a snapshot of everyone's stats at the beginning of battles. I've started keeping a list of absurd profiles I see. People with 20k games played and a 39% WR, people with 30 games played in their Alaskas at tier IX, etc. It's a gruesome compilation.

That ranked battle...I was remembering how almost 4 years ago this bug happened to me in ranked. Except that back then, it was only one ship that got displaced rather than one ship per team. So I started in the enemy spawn, but no enemies started in my team's spawn. Congrats to Wargaming on not only bringing the bug back but also making it worse. Or maybe they made it better, I suppose that depends on your POV.

After all, he took massive damage rushing in a straight line for half a map towards a CV without having the element of surprise. That's like a Cleveland broadsiding a Bayern for five minutes and then complaining he took heavy damage by the time he was done burning it down. With that said, the shop description is a goddamn lie. Loyang's AA is only decent at best.

It seems a lot of people didn't notice the enemy team were at 971 points when the Graf Spee went down, meaning they would have won several minutes earlier without the Loyang's efforts in solo'ing that CV and counter-capping C. But hey, if some people don't like the way the Loyang single-handedly saved that match while the Prinz Moron was busying firing at an island, that's their problem.

Bad stats player does bad (asashio): "Lmao he bad and dumb" Bad player does well, against someone that has a better ship: "Lmao his ship op he bad game bad" And let's not forget that everytime you talk about that jingles you show DDs that 1) goes CQC with CV, because it's a good idea to be perma detected and in secondary range of anything in a DD and 2) either sink the carrier with their guns, by a 2km drive-by or fail completely. And you also don't make a fuss about it when a TX DD play correctly, sneak up on a CV, smoke up in torpedo range and torp him. But every time a DD get rekt by a CV, it's never the fault of the DD, always the CV. Even if he is a potato. If he had sailed into a Bismark or Tirpitz and got rekt by the secondaries, the DD's a potato, if he's sailing to a Graff Zeppelin, which as better secondaries, the CV's are op. If he go for a drive-by on a cruiser, miss and get killed, the DD's a potato. If he drive-by a carrier, miss and gets killed, the CV's are op. If he gets into BBs sec or get dev striked by a BB main guns or torp, the DD's a potato. If he does it to a CV, the CV's are op. Don't you think it's getting old? That unfounded hate is really squeezing the fun for anyone who likes, even remotely, to play CVs. You do a good game but don't spot this at the exact moment some random wants it? You're a noob, bad player, reported. You're doing good, with or without a team? It's the ships anyway they are op. You're doing good and your team is trash? Your fault you're the only responsible. No, not that cruiser who rushed B at 2min in, only you. You're trying to not focus DDs to leave them breathing space because they're out of position? Noob you should find all of them at all time and also protect me! Reported! I'm not denying that CVs still have issues, because they have. But EVERY. TIME. a CV does something, if it's good, it's because the ship is op anyway. Not because the player was lucky or the enemy trash or the CVs WR is over 60%, no, no. The CV are just op. If it's bad, the player is trash, should quit and can't even play a op class and the whole game is lost because he didnt put his fighters here at that exact moment. You can't have it both ways. Either everybody who fail are shit and everyone who dosn't is sailing an op class of ship, or not.

That little twit spent the entire match hunting that CV, up to and including not torping 2 enemy BB's just to get to the CV closer. That kind of single-mindedness does indicate a complete lack of brains. Yes, he _is_ a bad player. And he got insanely lucky to manage to kill the CV, with 187hp remaining. And yes, CV's have massively buffed secondary batteries that _usually_ (60% of the time for that little asshat) just terminate unlucky DD's that come poking around even when played with very little skill and experience in the game. (And yes, I consider the DD player an asshat, given that his nickname is Finnish, and I can understand it, and it tells me he's an edgelord 'jonne' tryharding to be a badass memelord for his 12 KZread/Twitch followers or something.)

Guess my Shokaku, Ryujo, Ranger and Lexington are all broken, or i'm mostly up against Pro DD's - since i felt my secondaries aren't worth sh*t. However - i agree to the sentiment about CV's being blamed for everything - it's boring by now. The last CV iteration could, if well played, singlehandedly wipe out half the enemy team regardless of class - try that with a CV these days; good luck though, your planes will need it. Can't speak for TX CV's though, only got my Hakuryu yesterday.

​@@Ushio01 Flambass's not a great source, he's a CV hater as well and will outright say that CV are OP when HE makes himself the best possible target. I could dig up the video where he is alone, on a flank with a cruiser that already hasn't the best AA, against something like 2 BBs and when he get killed by the CV, 13 MINUTES in, he complain about the damages the CV did to him. Not the BBs, the CV. When he did something like 50k in 13 minutes. Now tell me which other ships in the game take 13 minutes to kill a cruiser that is alone. And that's why isolated exemples are not valid. That or go complain about a wooster doing 10k+ on any DDs as well. But you wont. You just hate CVs.

"...most devistating secondaries in the game.." sigh I wish you wouldn't false advertise like that. The 3 different buffs given to german bb's have flat out laid that to rest.

lol... I didn't comment before the end of video on the health of Loyang, but tossed out a guess in my head of "200 health remaining"... and had to laugh when you revealed it to be only 187... so close! :)

Also had the Prinz Eugen on rental and really liked it. It also has a pretty interesting history and survived WW2.

I know the French BBs have speed boost, but I didn't know that it was that good, even in reverse!

Oh it works in reverse that I can vouch for! as for the speed achieved maybe not!

"Wargaming are removing standard consumables and replacing them all with premium by default..." So in otherwords, they're turning all consumables into standards then. If everything is premium, nothing is premium as premium simply becomes the default standard.

I've been waiting for a Prinz replay! They're quite rare, sadly.

So, lemme get this straight: Hipper and Eugen, which used the same guns in the same mountings, had terrible DPM owing to the historically accurate reload time of those guns. Now, the non-premium Hipper’s reload has been improved, but the premium Eugen’s reload has not, but the Eugen’s AP shells have been improved in a non-historical way while Hipper’s ... have not. Same guns, same mountings...completely different performance. Why do they even pretend? Why not just create whatever the hell ship-shapes they want and name them by picking from a phone book? I don’t think the WoWs player base slants heavily toward naval history nerds who would notice, or care, whether they’re sailing an accurately rendered Prinz Eugen or a mishmash of turrets, masts and whatnot called “Bobert McBobface.” Just dump the pretense of historical accuracy, or even similarity. Here endeth my quarantine rant of the day.

Premium in WoT usually refers to ammo, which is for all intents and purposes, P2W. No one in WoT complains about people using prem consumables, though it really is a waste on anything lower than tier 8. Prem in WoWs can only mean consumables, an theyre so affordable and so much more functional that you cant really go without them. The single biggest impact is that prem consumables in WoWs effect the cooldown time drastically, which for just about every consumable is a big boost.

Jingles.. im so proud of you. you learnt how to pronounce Västerås without me cringing to it.

Somehow I got the feeling Jingles injected himself some Flamu before casting this.

I just had an epiphany as to why watching WoW is so much more visually stimulating while watching it, rather than when playing it lol. bc when playing it , I can’t focus on the cool visual effects, when Im thinking about navigating and positioning my guns

2:41 i've seen that glitch before. What happened id that he lagged out for a few seconds, then he caught back up. The thing is, events are still occuring as he is lagged out, and i guess the physics engine doesnt allow for the ships to teleport to their locations reported by the server, so the game rapidly speeds up instead untill it catches up. I know because it happens to me regularly :D

I know it's a bit of a meme to make jokes about the CV rework, but let's be real. Jingles just made a joke about how CV's are fine because the spread sheet said so, without mentioning the the CV player has a 40% winrate in his CV and that the >real< issue is how AA works not the CVs.

Since the only interaction AA has is with CVs, bad AA IS a CV issue.

I would love jingles to narrorate me just going through my day as he does WoW videos.

Umm actually Jingles his Hydro wasn't up not because he wasn't using premium consumables but because he just didn't have any *shotgun click* **BANG**
