My 3rd game in her I broke my damage record with 328k damage and i did it with a full secondary build they are very accurate and helpful with burning when im close in using my AP too bad it was a loss you know how MM is

The AA is actually really good. The problem is that it's mostly located on the back half of the ship with the dual/octuple mounts and the mounts themselves are incredibly weak. And being such a fast ship for it's size... it encourages people to "accidentally" smash all your AA when they don't lead enough. The same thing happens with the Duncan. It can get so bad that you lose over half your AA in an alarmingly short time if certain things are shooting you.

The AA is actually the highest sustained DPS of any tier 10 ship at all, the only problem is that it doesnt output anywhere near enough flak to actually be an effective deterrent.

Played 4 games in here .... 2 krakens and avg of 3 kills a game 150k dmg. LOVE HER

Kinda wish he would do a review on the T5 DD Siroco. It was my first premium ship and holds a special place in my heart.

St. Vincent is simply amazing BB. One of the best in the game. Ps. Check build with Super Heavy AP Shells and You will see citadel fiesta.

This ship has the potential to take out 4 ships in a close range brawl at once (if all the enemies aren’t full health) 1. Torps x2 2. Guns 3. 40 knots ram Truly a scary ship to face

I will probably take rudder shift instead of repair 2 module. But nice review. I have enjoyed the line so far, a lot.

I'm doing my best to get used to the battlecruiser mindset of flank, hit-and-run, support but don't try & lead or get too far into the furball. IIRC, the huge I-3 battlecruisers were laid down, but quietly scrapped after the Washington Naval Treaty, since they weighed in at a minimum of 50,000 tons. The general I-3 designs went into the later "interesting" plans for the Nelson & Rodney battleships (38K tons displacement).

it's basically a poor man's Thunderer. in every way that means. I had a game recently thunderer vs a 3 man st v division. 1 on 3 on a flank, and took all 3 down with the thunderer. Sure, it was 27 guns vs 8, but in order to use all 27 guns those stv had to basically expose their broadside and paper thin armor to the thunderer, and frankly, the thunderer's AP is way too good to give those juicey broadsides to. just kited em, and took em down one at a time.

09:16 about the Heal "it's not quite as good as the Conqueror's..." the Heal is SAME as Conqueror, 40% by default, 48% with flag, 52.8% with flag and captain skill, 58.1% with flag and captain skill and slot 5 module if youre crazy enough to use it

Actually it is slightly worse. It heals the same amount, but Conqueror's superheal heals 75% of penetration damage taken, this heal 'only' heals 60% of penetration damage taken. So it is slightly harder to get the full use out of the heals.

I like playing with 60s fires and faster rudder. With the extra heal skill even when you're on 3 fires it's no big deal, and furious can make it very powerful. I also take brisk for going even faster.

I think this ship will be the reason why people will stop playing the Bourgogne…it’s in the tech tree and doesn’t cost steel, concealment is better, reload with the build Mountbatten has is just 2 seconds more than the Bourgogne, better guns, armor I think is similar but this gets access to zombie heal, doesn’t get reload booster but the torps and Def AA more than make up for it and with speed boost, it can reach a faster speed than Bourgogne to get to the flanks and with better concealment as well….RIP Bourgogne

Counterpoint: Bourg has three more barrels, better armor (32mm everywhere can bounce everything but Yamato shells and bigger, unlike the overmatchable bow and stern on St. Vincent), and, as you said, MBRB, which I think isn't made up for by Def AA and torpedoes but is instead just different. Bourg is more gun focused and is a true battleship, whereas St. Vincent has a different toolset and is a battlecruiser.

St Vincent's armor is not kind of the same as bourgognes, its significantly worse. Def AA and torps don't come close to main battery reload booster on 12x380mm guns, maybe you could argue the superheal does but not with a 25mm bow at t10. Now St Vincent does get better overmatch but the French 380s get some ridiculous shell speed and arcs and will pick up big hits where some slower 406s will struggle. St Vincent is like bourgogne in that it's got speed and hitting power, its true that neither is a tanker of a ship, but bourgogne can tank as long as its 457mm or lower and angled, while St Vincent worries about anything over 358mm aka t6 and higher bb guns. I mean bourgogne overmatches St Vincent, St Vincent does not overmatch bourgogne. It's a good ship and it's different, maybe shares the flanking playstyle but it is by no measure a choice over bourgogne.

Well I skipped out on the thunderer because I felt dirty due to its playstyle. Changed my tune since. Will get this. Great info sealord

I will keep Thunderer for long range and this one for short range.

I got the Duncan as my first 1000 doubloon package. Ground out the St Vincent in 20 or so games. Been waiting nearly two months for her to release! But now I have no more port slots for her lol

My sympathies for the allergies, it's the tree pollen in spring time that sends me into paroxysms of sneezing.

Will consider grinding the bc line. Edit: since it has specialized repair party consider running furious and improved repair party. I run that on nelson and it runs nice to get fast reloads from 3 fires and repair running.

Not gonna lie that Norton scared me for my own pc for a second there.

High marks for a ship that can't shoot or survive, backwards... umm... okay? Thunderer has Fire Protection, this thing.... Funny that the guy who cried and still cries about the Thunderer is excited about these guns.

It just shows that this ship has such high renoun... and is just as sharp as a hawke... with an indomitable spirit in order to repulse the enemy. It is truly a goliath on the battle field and a daring choice.

Interesting how healthbar shows different command tower than model itself.

Most former ccs and current ccs use tank build bb they got skill issues with any other build

But running ship EXP (not captain or FXP) is usless on a t10 that has no reserchable modules.

The highlights of the line for me were Renown and duncan. Vincent just suffers i find at tier 10. Especially from fires. The weaker heal that conqueror but being forced to play close just doesnt work with HE spamming. A reload buff on the heal would just perfect her

@@Karathox no it doesnt. Why do people keep saying this. It isnt. Vincent gets the same heal as nelson not conqueror. But nelsons heal is designed for tier 7 not 10. It restores 60% hp. Conquerors heal restored 75% hp. Its on the wiki before you start argueing. Under the consumables section. Check your numbers

Seems like a pretty clear trade-off: conq heal more pen damage, sure, but st. vincent is much more maneuverable and gets 40 mm deck plating. Fires always heal at 100% as well, so given that the heals actually are identical in that they can potentially restore 40% of the ship's total hp pool per charge (base stats), there is no actual difference here.

@@Screenedwings less HP and less heal make fires far more deadly. Meaning you have to kill whatever HE spamming ship is focusing you quickly. But your guns whilst good arent good enough to compensate for how quickly you will die. The 40mm deck protects against AP overmatch. Its useless in todays HE meta where a lot of heavy cruisers can pen more than 40 and any ships that cant have a high enough fire chance for it not to matter. And everyone can pen the 25mm anyway. Yes you can heal 100% fire dmg. But your ship is so squishy it doesnt matter how much you can heal if you cant survive long enough to get the second one off. You will notice it most often when you kill a ship youve been farming for a bit but your HP just isnt enough to compensate that last fire. More than likely you will burn down with 5 seconds of fire left or a few seconds to the heal. Ive played vincent a lot so far and its a frequent problem. It might help once new ship syndrome goes away. But everyone wants to shoot this thing atm so its a severly glaring problem. That 10% difference from conqueror is missed.

@@joelmontgomery4837 I'd suggest you look at wowsft or, you know, in the game. Both ships heal 2% of their HP per second for 30 seconds. If your Conqueror heals more, maybe you have a flag equipped or something.

First of all I wanna say about this ship... its bloody hideous. I can't believe the British actually designed something so goddamn ugly. It may have some benefits such as not needing such a long armour belt but I'd prefer not to have this eyesore of a ship exist.

I like the WWI ship designs, sure it is... Different, but it looks glorious in its own way! Keep in mind this was a design at the time that big heavy breakthrough dreadnoughts were king, and carriers weren't really a thing yet.

Lets be honest, the main selling point of World of Warships is the ability to play as big badass battleships. First time playing WOWs, you wouldnt even think about grinding the cruisers/destroyers line.
