Kutuzov player here. Sadly I don't have the replay file anymore, but I don't think my game was as exciting though. Mainly just sitting in smoke or behind an island lobbing 152mm HE at the enemy. And I definitely made a couple of questionable choices as I'm not the greatest player in the game, so don't know if I would want it featured.😅 But thanks for the shoutout Jingles! Been watching for probably 10 years and its the first time I've been shown in a replay, even though I wasn't the main event. But if I remember correctly, I think I had like a little over 150k damage. I haven't spent money on the game and got it from a Supercontainer before the Supercontainer nerfs and have used it as a credit farmer since I got it. Great ship, but is definitely high risk high reward since it'll explode if looked at by any battleship.

It's 730am on the east coast of the USA, I've been waiting.... The funny part about Jingles' commentary about the Kitakaze is it's all mythical - nothing against jingles. Once the USA deployed radar to everything, nothing Japanese mattered any more. By late 43, the Imperial Japanese Navy was stuck at tier 6 while the USA were 10 and stars. That includes the Yamato. read Japanese Destroyer Captain to get a real view of WW2. Japan was insane.

Funny thing. I was listening (not watching) to this as I drove. As I went down the road I passed a truck...license number "T7 DAKKA". This while listening to a battle utilizing T9 Dakka.😂

A perfect example, of the expression: "Teamwork DLC" , as well as, " Sealclubbing". You can't be charging a Kroni and a Kita, in a t6 BB, that's suicidal at minimum.

Japanese 100mm guns have 30mm of base HE pen, going up to 37mm with IFHE. Also, T8+ DDs by in large have 19mm of armour, so the original versions of the japanese gunboat DDs couldn't even pen those without IFHE.

@@bluesynth7958 true, although I don't bother running IFHE on Kita or Harugumo anymore as there are so many BBs with >38mm plating these days. I think it can still work on Akizuki, as you're much more likely to come up against all the T8s with 32mm all over, but the fire chance hit is pretty nasty.

I remember when I started playing WoWS and some more experienced friends asked if I'd join them. I told them I unlocked new Battleship and upgraded it to maximum. It was a bit weird playing in Tier 8 with my Kongo, but as useless as I generally was, those 2 or 3 games where I actually managed to kill 2-4 enemies and place in top 3 were priceless. Shame about the fact that maybe 15% of games ended this well. What was weird was, they knew that I had only Kongo, but they showed up in T7 BB's. Also regarding playing in higher tiers, due to "fail division" - Fuso is fun, it at least has a ton of guns to spank cruisers and not very well protected BB's. Nagato is actually seriously good - but you need a lot of skill. But it is good enough to punish stupid players in T9 and T10's who think that T7 cannot be dangerous. It can, it's just bloody hard. And of course Amagi can normally run into T10's so it isn't a fail division anymore (at least not to that level). Capable ship. First Japanese BB that has secondaries that can potentially be dangerous or at least useful to deal with destroyers when you don't have the skill to hunt them with your main guns.

Dude I haven't played WoT in years and I've never even touched WoWs but it's a great time dragging your buddies in tier 5's into a tier 8 match as a tier 6, fighting like hell, and winning. Fail platoons make great moments with friends

The Chung Mu had to steam forward to grab the hull buff before Birdhunter could. The team probably gained more HP from that move than was lost, in addition to denying it to the enemy. So I'm going to count it as a team player move.

Good morning from Chicago Jingles. Just started WOW 3 days ago, yes I'm a noob, and i came across your channel looking for tutorials. Just wanted to say i really enjoy the content you create and have been binge watching them. I'm sure i speak for all your viewers when i say great work and keep it going. I know I'm opening up myself for some abuse but i do want honest opinions. I am at just about 100 games and at tier IV in 3 classes with a win rate of 51%. Is that decent, average, or needs work?.........BTW, everytime i get lit up by torps doing something stupid i hear "obvious torpedoes are obvious" in my head. thanks for that LOL

Welcome to the game! It's hard to get much from your win rate so far. This game has a very long learning curve, as you get and play each new ship, as you get into higher tiers, and the tactical differences between playing alone and playing with buddies in a division or clan. Honestly I wouldn't care much about win rate until maybe 1000 games. The good news there is the game has tremendous depth. There's always something more to learn and explore. What's more important is that you're having fun. If it brings you enjoyment for a month or (in my case) 7 years, great! Hope to see you in battle! P.S. I use Jingles voice in the game. It never gets old hearing "you have sunk a friendly cruiser!" 😂

I know that the Kitakaze is a good ship but for some reason, I just can't do well in it (or the Aki for that matter). So when I got to the Harugamo I just recycled the whole line.

Just for a little extra detail: the Graf appears to have hauled ass for the border at the *start* of the match; then could not be assed to help his flank. That fight with the Chung Mu would have gone a bit different for the Reds if their CV was in the match. At the very least they could have traded.

The GZ player also had no idea how to play that carrier, he clearly had nothing put into his secondaries which should have been punching bird hunter in the face at 10km distance

10:42 Historical Irony regarding the murder of the Izmail by many many little 100mm HE shells: it is believed by many naval historians that the main impetus behind the Russian design of flat-deck dreadnought battleships with minimal superstructure was precisely to limit the effect of saturating fire from smaller high-explosive shells, a problem identified in fighting the Japanese in 1904-05. If true, this makes a Kitakaze beating up a Russian dreadnought with a rain of HE shells very ironic, as that was precisely what the Russian ship was designed to withstand!

Yes many nerfs yet there was one very significant one might say crucial buff. It can be argued that since it was a line buff it doesn't count but I argue that since it was introduced specifically for this line that it is indeed a direct buff. The caliber of the guns made IFHE mandatory and because WG for some reason felt bad about forcing that choice they buffed the penetration of all IJN 100mm guns from 1/6 to 1/4 pen. Of course this didn't stop people from taking IFHE but "in theory" it wasn't a mandatory choice anymore. So yeah a bunch of nerfs but one very very big buff

The Colorado is an AMAZING ship. Probably one of the best BBs in the game, in terms of what a BB should be. Instead of WG doing the same thing as WOT and massively increasing the stats on all "new" ships added to the game. It is especially good in ranked. It excels when not being cross fire spammed by 15 ships in random battles.

Not being crossfired by 15 ships helps every ship. Nevermind that there are only 12 ships per team in a random battle.

I remember back in the day where you could do real fail platoons. I would bring the South Carolina into fights involving North Carolinas and I would citidel them with no problem. Its not the age of the ship, its not the tier of the ship, its how you use it that matters.

3:00 As a Kitakaze driver, another way to see its speed: at 40 knots with speed boost, my Georgia is *faster*.

The Match Maker definitely wanted to teach that div the hardest Fail-Division lesson possible...

I play CVs...But I do NOT hug the end of the map like that...I'd rather get my planes out and reach the enemy in time to score the kills and support my team! The only time I'd hug the borders? Is when I am being chased, Or when it's the only way to have a chance of a victory. Funny thing: I had a CV match. where my team did good. and had the lead for the longest time...ONLY TO THROW like a bunch of pantloads! leaving me the CV whale...dealing with 5 ships!! (I had 1 kill already and spotted for 150k damage plus.) Struggled and got one-two more kills and time ran out...and I won?! Turned out the enemy did not capture points for a while...Leading me earning the solo warrior metal. Odd way to win despite stressing so hard from a crappy mega throw.

I... I won't lie. I didn't know 1 tier difference fail divisions existed. Like... I understand how and why, but it still feels like it would be fairly easy to just... not do have that issue.

Seriously tho, Merica is the only place left you can have a PC with internet, and still be on food-stamps, right?

Definitely an older person, we haven't used food stamps in forever. It's all electronic debit cards now.

According to Stephen Hawking and also Albert Einstein, in all of the trillions of parallel universes, in not a single one of them does a destroyer gun down a battleship, especially with 100mm pea shooters. WOW, doing it's best to trample any semblance of reality.
