World of Warships - Quick Cut: Tier IX Premium American Destroyer USS Johnston (Gun Build)

By changing Tier IX Premium American destroyer USS Johnston to a gun build, I am able to achieve nominally better results. I think the frustrating thing is that everything Johnston wants to do, other American destroyers already do better. Want to sit in smoke and farm damage? Play Sherman. Want to get into brawl-y gunfights and bully other destroyers around with your guns? Play Kidd. Johnston feels like a ship without a true role in the game, entirely because she dies far too easily once she does engage something with her guns.

@@SeaRaptor Not mad, or even that you had a choice. Just saying there's no diff in your game play between the two games. I'm not picking it up because I'm not seeing this as being as good a boat Kitakaze or Mogador.

That's fair. I feel like Johnston has to be overly cautious, and unless you have other spotters around, sitting in smoke and farming damage with the guns is not entirely viable.
