@@Just_A_Dudethe rate of fire on Iowa's secondaries are not nearly as fast as Fletcher, the reload is 6 seconds, so it would be like having only one fletcher on each side

Something you can actualy achieve with the Katori, too. I once managed the aircraft kill, the secondary, and the torpedo, but not the main battery one, which is like batting for the cycle and missing out on the single.

I have secondary build on Musashi and is just works , Musashi have 12 127 mm guns & 12 155mm guns , and you can belive me on my word , that destroyers commanders dont expect that , even if wont sunk dd , will make them run & hide for sure . (BTW I have 1803 battles on Musashi and 42 secondary kills , but I have played with secodary build aroud 600 battles)

I once heard someone back in the original EQ say, "The only difference between bravery and stupidity, is the outcome." If you did it, and it worked you were 'brave'. If you failed...........

Kii is one of my favorites because of the "Surprise butt torps".

Oh my, the green dds ... Even if they ignore Aetam writing "one destroyer to the left flank please" at 2:03, at 2:38 all packed at one spot they should've started to rethink their "tactical" movement a tiny little bit. No surprise they all sank some minutes later. On the other hand it's a surprise the enemy team did not take advantage of being three dds in the lead.

I had something like this happen the other day. 3 BBs and a CL came over to a flank I was spotting with my Mahan. Instead of maneuvering in open water they literally all clumped up behind an island and sat there. None of our ships had any firing angle on the enemy and eventually the red Japanese DDs came around and torped them all. They were literally slaughtered in a little cluster behind the rock.

Never seen two krakens for one team in one battle WoW.

Every source I've found says that the Kii class design is based on the Amagi class design which is based on the Tosa class design. Could you point me to a source that says different?

"Normal" streamers would call sequential videos sharing a title 1, 2, 3, 4, ect. Jingles has one minor handicap, he was Navy and increasing numbers tend to frighten him. That being said, I'm still waiting for the Dr. Seuss destroyer episode labeled "1 Fish, 2 Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish"

The Japanese 100mm gun was legitimately a really good AA gun IRL, it’s why everyone wanted the Akizuki line to have DefAA as a gimmick.

Japan had shitty close in AA guns, NO mid-rang AA guns, and excellent long-range AA guns. So it's more accurate to say that Japanese WW2 AA was incredibly flawed rather than it just plain sucked.

the japanese 100mm dual-purpose guns were excellent- probably better pound for pound than the american 5"/38- but american ships had better all around AA thanks to the prodigious amount of excellent 40mm guns that peppered their decks like sand on a beach. IJN ships didn't really have any equivalent, they basically went straight from their garbage 25mm guns to the 100mm and 127mm DP guns.

@@ZaffaPlaysGames Actually *Adjusts glasses.* it's due to the anti aircraft directors for the guns, not really the guns themselves, the bofors were also pretty lacklustre until VT fuzes became a thing and they could be slaved to anti air directors. American fire control systems were nothing short of outstanding. The Japanese did, however, obtain a couple of bofors from their capture of Singapore which they reverse engineered, the Japanese just had no ships to put them on in 1945 due to well the Americans found the presence of even docked and crippled IJN ships extremely offensive! ( The Japanese Bofors were called 4 cm/60 (1.57") Type 5 (Model 1945)) Fortunately, the Kii being a papership, has access to these as does the Yoshino and the Zao I believe? Not sure what else (Azuma used to have a few but they got murdered at some point :( ), which are superior to the American 40mm in being just that little bit longer (US Bofors had a calibre of 4cm/56) I mean they would hardly have made a difference in real life but in a game where everything has a 'stat' so to speak, that extra barrel length of 2/3 inches more just gives it like a handful of extra damage. The Japanese ability to reverse engineer stuff, especially something such as the bofors which was not a simple piece of equipment by any means (The US originally dilly dallied on their purchase of bofors because they were not mass producable.) Though sadly I'm not even sure WG'ing considers fire control systems at all, other than a guest appearance for range? (Yamato should not be as accurate as it is, for example, because they lack gyro stabilised sights yet can nail a DD happily at 20km away... USS Johnston would take issue with that!) The 25mm might have been okay if they had decent fire control systems, it was alright at like sub 1km ranges but the Japanese just didn't have the technology of Uncle Sam, I can not express how amazing the VT Fuze combined with MK. 51 Director was. I can only imagine the faces on the Japanese pilots when they first came across this war winning combination. One of the reasons why the 5"/38 calibre gun is better than the 100mm though (Or rather should be.) because of the Mk. 37 fire control system (Seriously, I absolutely love US fire control systems of ww2. I did my thesis in University about the evolution of fire control systems throughout ww2 and the Cold War. I love 'em.) The Japanese just didn't have any equivalent, hell, most of their weapon systems didn't even have a gyroscope. Not sure if I mentioned this but I freaking love fire control systems! :D Hope y'all have a nice day!~

The Atago/Takao has two sets of torpedoes on each side. Judging by the number of torpedoes we spotted, he only employed one spread on the first turn, at 13:17 he made the maneuver to attempt to launch the second set. Not a bad move, fake the enemy ship into maneuvering to avoid the torps on the assumption that he dropped all of them at the first maneuver, and then get nailed by the set that was reserved.

Y'know it's only a matter of time before we finally see a game when Both teams will go the middle on this map.

A whole lot of people take issue with me playing my ships the way I want. That's why I have zero karma.

My best two-brothers experience was when I charged down the middle in a shima in a CV game, and the CV sent planes down the middle, sort of. He just missed seeing me coming down the middle as he was a little to the right and I was in a dark spot from his visibility. Then I resumed charging the mid and when I came out the enemy side there was the CV, he had apparently decided to park there and do so safely because he scouted the mid, if he had done it right. I got first blood sinking the CV.

You gnomish bastard! It's 1am, and I need to sleep! But after the video, obviously...

Back in the open beta I had the best game ever on this map. My team was getting slaughtered. I waited in my destroyer for 5 minutes exactly and started down the middle. I capped the enemy base by myself because they were all too far away to get back as they had cornered my team on the north east corner of the map lmao. It was glorious, I don’t think that would ever work today.

I think this is the first time I have seen 2 Krackens by the same team in a battle

I always like to listen to Jingles hold forth about WoW while I play WoW!

I don't remember ever seeing a game where two people on the same team won Krakens.

actually jingles, Hyuga, Nagato and Amagi have 140mm secondaries. This are the guns wich can also be found on the Kuma and Tenryu class CL

There is no better feeling than going full Leroy Jenkins on Two Brothers with nearly the whole team and somehow winning. Just managed to talk the team into doing it the other day and won because a DD went with us, didn't fire, and stealth capped while the whole enemy team was busy laughing at the 4 bbs bottlenecked at the exit. Also, it's probably unnecessary to mention that I was driving a gneisenau and two of the other three bbs were as well. Haha

If the enemy carrier is pushing up in 2 Brothers, down the middle is definitely a viable move. I've caught and killed enemy CVS quite a few times like that. Otherwise its a bit better to wait until both flanks develop, then go through the middle and draw ships off the flanks, which can be really effective at winning flanks to have 1 ship diverting/distracting 5 or more ships. Thats the key with the middle channel, its often a very GOOD idea if used well.

I kinda thought that the narrow gap in Two Brothers was too narrow for Carrier Torpedo Bombers to launch their torpedoes. So I thought that Carriers would use their Dive Bombers to drop bombs on ships going through that channel.

the turn halfway through the channel is wide enough, shokaku may have it a bit harder due to its faster torps covering more distance before arming

Extra hilarious. For the serious description about a game doesn't offer the minimum reliability. It could up and down a ship 5-6 rank. It depend of if the want to depress or to flatter for purchases. Ok So I'm playing the game. I've got a T5 Furutaka - Why is it the damage from players seems to be so much higher than from bots?

Am pretty new to this game - but even I know if you hold R mouse button when you look around your main turrets are not continually moving back and forth depending on your view....

A clan mate and I took too slow tier 6 bbs down the center. We did not stop as we ram over a dd a ca a bb. All before we left the channel. It was a tier 8 battle

Damn, 2 Krakens earned on one team. Talk about double trouble. Excellent work to this team, they really put good effort in overall unless I missed some numpty suiciding instantly. I think the first 4 to die didn't do much but c'est la vie.
