Here's our First Look at Tier VI Dutch cruiser HNLMS Kijkduin. Kijkduin has a lot of stiff competition at Tier VI; there are a lot of REALLY good tech tree light cruisers in this tier, ships like USS Dallas, Budyonny, La Galissonnière, Nürnberg, and HMS Leander. Where does Kijkduin fit against competition like that? What does she offer that her contemporaries don't, if anything? If you'll give me just a few minutes of your time, we'll find out together.

I would definitely add this ship to my collection. She seems to be pretty decent as far as a tier 6 cruiser.
I am intrigued by the airstrike munition. I wonder if the fighter option for the tier VI cruiser will protect some from the airstrike. Also subs are coming. Will the airstrike have an option to attack subs. I am looking forward to the next reviews. I also appreciate that you do as factual review as you can. I think the proper term is harass ships.

lolz, all people will mount the spotter plane, as cruiser fighters are rubbish. Even if the enemy flies through them the fighters rarely shoot down any planes. It's weird people are thinking about limiting the number of ships in battle, as the ISE is not limited and you rarely see them not being in at least a 2 man div (if not 3man).
Is that proper pronunciation? I wouldn't have the slightest clue on how to say that lol

I just made my first try and I can't work it out, what a waste, dead in 2 minutes because you have to get close to engage.

@@SeaRaptor Yes, a simple rectangle box that you have to look ahead and then also there is the time for the strike, you could easily miss both.
It looks nice, but playing wise it is a disaster, i've played it a little now but I have to force myself. Guns are awfull, and the gimmick works kinda 1 out of 10, so it is gonna need some buffs to make it playable.

Agreed, my first game I had 101 shell hits for 2 fires and 18k total damage. The airdrop is easy to dodge. This ship is really really weak

I feel the same way as you both; I LOVE CRUISERS and I don't care for the Dutch line all that much.
Not a great boat. Your guns fire further than your planes can fly. Nothing goofy about that right?
Find a lovely rock to hide behind within 10 KM of a cap, and airstrike the crap out of anyone who tries to push it. Campers rejoice. Everyone else, yawn ...
