The perfect tiermaker will never happen. No list will ever be perfect and make everyone happy. Slai and I had a great conversation and made compromises putting this list together. If I was to rank the ships only by what I know they are capable of in select few players hand’s, they would all be Meta and Competitive. Trying to factor in the heavy DD matchmaking right now and the bulk of the playerbase, I ranked ships where I think they should be and talked about why I think they got put into that position.

one suggestion I have for all BB players is that you must play other ship classes. Cruisers teach you how to map position and use concealment and island cover to reduce incoming fire and survive, while for dds playing them can help you understand where they like to go and where they hide, which helps immenesly when reading the game and trying to figure out positioning

I was thinking more Slava, St. Vincent and some of the stealthier BB’s pushing it out of meta. I should have articulated that point during our discussion. Some of these BB’s can take away the advantage of Yamato’s range and hit just as hard as Yamato does.

I am BB main and I don't like facing Smolensk and Gdansk or any HE spammer in my Yamato , Colombo... I would argue Montana as Meta , reason for that those RR , sometimes I used only 50% fire power against those DDs and Cruseir with RR and they would be not able to give me broadside for next 30 secs

@@Blacktiger88754 Montana is my most played ship with close to 800 games. I love the ship and it’s still one of my favorites to play. I’m not ready to call it a meta ship yet. But every game I play in the ship pushes it higher in my mind. Great fire and flooding resistance, solid guns with Oldendorf as my commander. Nice speed, decent maneuverability and a decent armor layout. Montana does every good but not great.

Slai, what is this 'skill' thing you always talk about? Could you elaborate one day?
