No need to worry about the title "Game of Throws" being a spoiler... Titanic was, at one time, the highest grossing movie of all time ( still ranked #4), but I don't think anyone going to see it didn't already know the ship was going to sink... Carry-on, sailor. @Tuning3434 I don't think it matters but I play NA servers. By the time I started playing i think there were 4 FXP ships IIRC... azuma, agir hayate and groningen. I remember being pretty grumpy when I got groningen out of a Santa container thinking I got ripped off by getting a 'free' ship

"A Game of Throws" such a good series of videos, good games and then someone does what your NOT supposed to do and get cit'd into last week. Replays like this are what I live for tbh! Love you and your videos Jingles! I wish you a speedy recovery! :)

it's like a greek tragedy, they tell you how it'll end at the start, but you still watch the show to see how it will get there !

Game of throws would describe nearly every match I'm in considering the newer players who don't seem to understand strategy and the difference between CO-OP and Randoms.

Jingles - so happy you are back. I don't play anything WG anymore, but your videos, commentary and at times most excellent historical documentaries are a morning staple for me on the east coast of the US. Keep healing my man.

If I didn't know better I would've said that it was a ranked battle. Definitely the best AZUMA replay I have seen by far, usually they just hide behind battleships and spam HE, which is pretty boring to watch. That is why I absolutely love the Agir for these small battle engagements. Only reason this battle was lost, was the Gronigen not running the detonation flag. You gotto love RNG Jesus being on your side for a change.

Azuma has 27mm plating amidships. It also has a special repair party with a 40 second cooldown rather than the standard cooldown time.

Jingles, I think one of the reasons for a small number of ships in the game is when it was played. It was just before 10am on a Tuesday. Yes there are fewer of us on the NA server, but especially on "off" hours like this.

Jokingly, but seriously: what a nice bit of news that you’ll be sticking around with us for the foreseeable, Jingles. I take comfort in your cheerful videos, and the entertainment makes a noticeably good impact on my life.

I've had 3v3 battles before on NA. Sent you one of those battles once. It was definitely a good conversation from both teams.

You had one job: Don't open fire. You were 250 points ahead. Just keep out of sight and doubleback to A.

Wonder if Jingles heard Russell Peters' skit on his dad because the opening has a similar tone, "somebody is gonna get a hurting real bad, I'm not gonna say who... oh i think you know who it is. (Russell Peters goes on to says its him but says is it his brother) the dad comments ends with somebody is gonna get a hurt real bad."

You do know the fact there is a winner and a loser so game of thro's does not give anything away. Your voice sounds stronger so keep up the good work and Cheers to Rita for her efforts.

When I was still playing WoW, small random battles were a morning issue. Never ran into it later in the day.

The Albemarle in the British line is a similar ship playstyle wise but the trouble is it doesn't have spectacular gunnery range , this lack of range makes it an absolute pig to grind as I'm finding out at the moment . The epitomy of " Glass Cannon " ...........

It's worse than that Jingles, yesterday on the NA server a random, 9 vs 9 and half of each team were BOTS, with the ":" before and after their names.

At around 3:00 in it is clear the allied Akatsuki is in need of aid near Jabberwocky but he’s too focused on fairly useless long range sniping. As a result the team loses its DD and the enemy gains a cap. That said, fine comeback.

6 for 6 would have been cherry, just sayin'. That rudder shift- she's quick and that saved her a number of times.

as a player of the na server i can say yeah thats usual and its almost always skewed team balance no matter what world of you play, last night for example in my teir 7 on blitz i got pulled into a 7/8 battle, our team has the only light tank so they get the only tank hunter. like what? or smaller battles and they end up all heavys one medium and our team bc someone had a lvled up 7 we got him as the only heavy, it was a frustrating one last night, they tend to dwindle down in numbers at night too, like less than a 100 in total online around 11 pm cst, on a side note im glad the recovery is going well and look forward to hearing youre back in the saddle and all is right as rain

6v6 is something I've seen once in 3 1/2 years. 9v9 is more common, but still probably not more than 5% of the games. IMO Azuma is not a great ship because she is so lightly armored, but if you're team is decent, the 5 heals help it survive if you start using them earlier than you would on most ships.

NA random MM has been extra sparse since Asymmetric debuted.

Almost had a super throw game in ranked the other day. We had 3 guys left two bbs and one dd at 700 points and all 3 caps vs one dd on 6k hp. Instead of backing off the bbs charged in and both got torped, then the dd goes in for an even gunfight and he killed the red dd and died from the return fire. They really tried hard to grab defeat from the jaws of victory

Entertaining more than a 12 ship version.

Actually...on the NA servers, it just depends on the time of day as to when one might see a 6v6 match. I've been on in the middle of the day and get 6v6 matches, but get a full 12v12 match at 2am. It's about as random as the intelligence of some players choices when playing.

6v6 is unusual in randoms in NA. I don’t remember being in one in a long time. 9v9 yes many times.

9x9 is more usually with a queue dump. I have thousands of games and not sure I have ever seen 6v6 random battle. It is really, really rare.
