I always love ASMR videos on channels that don't normally do them, just because it's always hilarious seeing people freak out over it. Like, this video is nothing but sounds of nature from a video game - if you freak out over that, going outside must be a rough time. As for the video itself, I really enjoyed it. I've listened to a lot of these types of sounds just for relaxation on my own, so it's nice to see Crendor enjoys them too.

@@Mikeztarp The C'tan are one of the oldest races in Warhammer 40k. They moved from solar system to solar system draining stars. At one point they ran into a race of sickly aliens who were fighting a war against the Old Ones, a really ancient civilization that was pretty much ruling the galaxy at that point through a Network of gates that allowed instant access to any part of it (called the Webway). The C'tan offered to help these sickly aliens (who were sickly because of horrible radiation from their own star, and were called the Necrontyr) in their fight, by giving them access to almost indestructible robotic bodies made of a regenerating living metal. The Necrontyr rejoiced at the prospect of finally being rid of disease and weakness and accepted, only the C'tan did NOT mention that all of their souls would be ripped out in the process and fed as energy that was far more valuable as dying stars, back to the C'tan. Almost all Necrontyr became mindless automatons, with only a few remembering their past lives and realizing they'd been betrayed. With their new-found bodies, these spiteful few organized a strike against their former Star-Gods (this is what the Necrontyr had come to call the C'tan) and imprisoned them in powerful devices called Tesseract Labyrinths or Tesseract Vaults. The comment above probably references the bio-transference event during which the bodies and souls of the Necrontyr race were replaced by their mechanical bodies.

This is pretty awesome. Only thing I would suggest for next time, if you're going to do one of these again, is have a transition between scenes so it's not so abrupt.

Ah perfect. Now i can listen to nature sounds i listen to while waiting for a rare spawn while i have a nap between waiting rare spawns :D

When I was a kid and played WoW, after I was done with my leveling I would just go /sit on a bed at a cozy inn and just enjoy the ambiance. It was amazing, finding the coziest spot for my character to rest. It's little things like this that made WoW have a special place in my heart.

I have never listened to ASMR but I can appreciate this.

WoW does really have amazing ambient noises, i thought i was the only one that understood this, but i heard you talk about it in your recent crencast. I usually play it with music off, and just ambient noises to the max.

This is why crendor is my favourite youtuber. Keep doing what you do man, I LOVE IT!!!!!!

Why didn’t I know crendor made these??? I love this. If I’m wide awake playing WoW and need to sleep, I turn up my ambience fully in zones like this so I get tired. This is great.

Its still best game ever. I need to stick with cartoonish games. I shouldn't play war games, I worry it could become real. Anything cartoonish, well wow did good with ambient and environment. Only the latency..

Vanilla/BC sounds were dreadful. Most of it has been reworked in newer expansions.

these are so awesome! would love longer videos of each individual one (an hour each?). easier to get to sleep with one hour of rain, than say, 5 minutes rain, then snow. maybe an own channel would be usefull?

I occasionally play the game with only ambient sounds on (music off) and it feels amazingly immersing after a while. Highly recommend it. That Azuremyst scene is beautiful by the way.

this is exactly why I love to turn off all music in the game, just to listen to the landscapes and how the game sounds without music. its especially relaxing at night just BC everything is calm AF at those time. biggest reason WoW at night is absolutely my favorite!
