@@kresse5647 lmao Kresse chill out, the artillery were probably shooting other targets. Half the game he was in spots hard for arty to hit. You don't have to try to make fun of everyone else just to try to make yourself feel better about never getting a game like this. Aside from the afk, the enemy team was good. They completely cleaned up his entire team without losing a single tank on any other flank except to derman. That's pretty good.

I like to play killer free tanks with maybe 5-7 special rounds for emergencies paid for by in game money. My favorite tank to play because it is never at a loss no matter how bad the MM. The VK3001 H. A rammer, super coated optics, and camo net with tier 7 squeeze bore gun with 170 reg pen and 230 special on a tier 5 TANK that moves smoothly is dead accurate and shoots well on the move while being able to go hull down with 80 mm turret front and nothing is safe from me except the VII tier Jap heavy which is where special ammo comes in.. A beauty that just needs thoughtful handling to shine! The best tier 5 vehicule!

I think this is becoming one big misunderstanding. I don't mean that this is a recording of the 'real' past. It is a recording of a battle somebody played in World of Tanks in the past. I was using "game" with the definition: A complete episode or period of play, ending in a final result, like a game of baseball. (Oxford Dictionaries).

@@31yza Yeah, and a Panther as well. Although the Japanese did not actually recieve the Tanks because of Germany having trouble of dealing with the western allied forces invading Normandy aka. D-Day and so Germany ended up cancelling the shipment and sending the tanks into commission. Both of the tanks were destroyed in battle.

Yep, I want a tiger, too, and I'm almost there. When I was a boy, and keen on WW2 history, I loved Tiger and Panzer IV tanks.

I had 15 kills multiple times between 2010-2012 when the game was still fresh. Back in the day you could get over 12 kills on a regular basis with op (but historically more accurate) Marder II and Stug III. KV-1 was also a beast.

T18. The only thing holding you back from 15 kills were your team and other t18s.

I went straight for the tigers, I've been playing mostly f2p for almost 5 years and I haven't gone over tier 8 because I can't be bothered, I have 30 tanks (just got the garage slots and some tier 5,6,7&8 premiums)

You just need to play 1 tank by 1, I have my 1st X tier this night without pay any premium account or tank, but it takes so much Time (3years, 2h of play/day)

When I started the game I wanted to get the Sherman tank, and when I finally get it I never sell it, I'm close to 4.000 battles in it, my best score with it is 9 kills, and my best score is 10 kills with M4A3E8

This is the reason i stopped runing stat mods. People see you're win/loss or any other stat and make the mistake of judging your ability. Sure it does show some skill levels but when you can so easily stat pad in a t67 etc it doesn't really show you how good they are in that tank on that map

When I first started World of Tanks back in 2011 I, too, was driven and motivated to achieve the mighty Tiger. I ignored every other country and line until I could get through the German heavy line.

The whole reason I started playing WoT over ,8 years ago was to get my hands on the Tiger. I'm still obsessed with this tank. Just got myself the Collector edition Tiger 131 just to get all of them.

I just recently got the tiger, despite playing the game for 8 years, and I am noticing it’s pretty much just a good gun.

Yes i went strait for the German heavy tanks, got the tiger was not impressed at first but learned to love it. After that the fully upgraded German super heavy's were just a blast to play.

I'd say it is easier to do with the 105mm, and when it happens 'that your in that match', where the stars, planets, tanks, players and gun barrels align correctly together, it can feel easy, but that isn't the usual battle.

I *average* 11 kills in my VK 30.01 (P). OK, so that's technically true, but also very misleading. I played one game in that tank, got 11 kills, and then bought permanent camo for it and leave it in an honored place in my garage never to be played again! :D

Niels Blankenstijn yeah, I just love telling that story. It's my only claim to fame since I'm not very good. I've gotten lucky a couple times and have a few Pools but that's more *despite* my gameplay than because of it.

Giving him the 30 days of premium time was a nice gesture. When I started WoT I wanted the Tiger II (Panzerkampfwagen Tiger Ausf. B) as I see it as the quintessential World War II tank. As a bad (46%) free-to-play player it was a lot of work for a disappointing result. The Tiger II wasn't/isn't really a competitive tank because WoT is an unrealistic tank game (as opposed to a realistic simulator). That experience killed most of my enthusiasm for WoT. Being good at WoT requires more than I have to give. These days, as an American, and still a free-to-play player, I stick to tier 5 American tanks. The M4 Sherman was a common World War II tank so I play it the most. I prefer the derp gun, although I don't believe it was a common configuration. These days I play Armored Warfare a lot more than WoT. Regarding WoT, I prefer watching good players videos and streams more than actually playing myself. I enjoy your tech tree showcase episodes in that I know I'm going to get to see some tier 1 - 5 action which is what I like the most. Thank you for your terrible content.

If the Tiger II actually saw combat, it wouldn't have stood much of a chance. Allied guns have already gone far beyond the point of overmatching its armor. Your right that WoT isn't realistic but wrong as to how. You don't have to worry about foot soldiers or anti-tank weaponry. You also don't have to worry about getting knocked out in 1 hit. You also don't have to worry about tank reliability.

Pity all three suck in game, the Tiger 1 admittedly much less so (heavy 'sniper', greeeeaaat), but the other two are pretty terrible. Yes, I went for them too....classic WW2 tanks, WG has s*** all over them though, KT is utter garbage and has been powercreeped to death, probably the worst Tier 8 heavy by now, and the Panther's top equipment makes it look a) not like a Panther, and b) utterly stupid. Apart from it being a non very mobile needle gun with pathetic alpha. /rant

Shrike200 yeah, not the worst issue with the KT, but a big problem with German heavies in general- they have armor that's plenty good enough to get bounces here and there when you angle properly, but they're right at that threshold where you load gold an pen every time no matter where the shell lands. Soviet tanks have insane turrets where it doesn't matter if you're slinging heat from a Jg Pz E100, or APCR from a T110E3, you just straight up aren't going in. Americans get adamantium-clad gun mantlets that can take a hit from the fist of God himself. British get their new Super Conq with enough additional spaced armor bolted on, you could build another tank with all the extra scrap metal welded on there. Chinese have, well, Soviets. Japanese..... ugh. Germans? It's strong enough if you're angled properly, unless it's a TD or a really high pen heavy they'll probably bounce most of the time. Gold ammo? Get fucked, you're losing HP.

This reminds me of a game that I had, a little bit after I got the hetzer I played a really intense match, my team died and I ended up getting 7 kills before I got killed, it was amazing, considering I barely know what I'm doing

I once got 9 in my stug and got killed by a jealous pig :( Was about to kill my 10th and boom...

The Tiger was the tank I wanted when I started in the closed beta too... You say it didn't have much armour, but in the beta when most folk were on T4-7 and there weren't many tanks it was really powerful. Since then they've pushed a load of other tanks in which have diluted its power. Then I moved on to the Tiger 2, then the VK4502 when there was only around 50 of them acquired in the beta. I had one round when it was me in a T9 (at the time VK4502) and the next-highest was tier 5. Let's just say it was a 14 kill massacre, with one scout getting blown up at the start of the game. Happy days :D

0:45 - I wanted to research T-34. In the old tech tree, you had to go though A-20. Then the tree got rearranged. This is how I started playing light tanks and mostly play light tanks to this day.

When i use this tank everything pens me even a stick can destroy my tank but in this replay it seems like a Maus in tier 6

I'll never forget coming 1 shot away from winning a 1v8 in my tiger. A tier 5 arty hit me directly in the turret while I was using the dead hull of a t29 as cover...I wasn't even mad though, just amazed I survived as long as I did lol

In US service it was the M3. In British service it was the M3 Lee OR M3 Grant depending on which turret it had, the original US one or the one redesigned for the british.

It never gets to 50 degrees in Turkey. 42 - 43 tops Maybe down south.

Not OP enough when they got nerfed. When you get the O-Ho, you get penned by any tier 7+ tank from the front and when angled.

Most kills I've ever had was 11 in the t-127 on the old salad bowl map as i called it, where both teams start on opposing hills and fight in a ruined city in the center. Good times.

13 in VK 30.01H tier 5 HT, that turd made me sweat honestly. The tier 6 match had 3 arty in enemy side and i had to abuse double bushes and hard cover due to the combination of slow speed and very bad armor... minmaxing camo in that tank helped to some degree. 12 in PzIVH 11 in StugIIIG the last 2 where more confortable to do due the tanks not being complete pieces of shit.

will this be a good time to mention the Pershing, IS-2, ISU-152, 76 mm/17 pdr equipped M4 Sherman's, T-34-85's and SU-152? also Tiger I is not a terrible tank in WoT, its main problem is that it's a very good support heavy that gets played like a brawler cause most wheraboo's automatically think German=god

@@somerandomguyfromthebeyond1821 Thats right. Even in WW2 any Tiger 1 caught in a close-quarter brawl always lost. It was meant to be and used as a mobile Long range Anti-Tank artillery piece. They'd find a choke point to hide one and have it pick off tanks at a distance. The main issue with the tank is that its traverse speed and turret turning rate are both very, very slow. Much slower then WoT has it set. Theirs also the fact that it wasn't reliable. Most Tiger 1's either ended up getting stuck or broke down completely causing them to get abandoned. The second most common way is that it would just get overrun by foot soldiers because its machine gun was near useless. The Tiger 1 was seen as "terrifying" because of very early in the war you could get killed by one with out even seeing it. But if that sounds like any anti-tank placement then thats because it does. The only reason the tiger 1 got more of a reputation is due to allied soldiers hyping it up.

@@MrFlunkorg more like the western powers hyping it up to no end, I haven't seen the Russians do the same thing then again it was the Russians who had to fight the Tiger the most as the Tiger was meant as a T-34/76 counter

QB may have wanted the Tiger when first playing but I wanted the Panzer 4H with the cool armor skirts. A truly villainous looking machine.

maarten 61 no joke the tiger is actually one of the better tier 7 heavy tanks,t29 is amazing,IS and IS2 are decent,amx m4 and black prince are pretty bad and the o ni is just for complete idiots

I got a pools medal with my T57 heavy in a tier 10 matchup. Its tough getting that many kills in a game! Stars have to align to even get close to 12 or 14!

Heck yeah, and I enjoyed my first game in it, that was the first time I saw rounds ricochet off a tank I owned, I really felt I was driving a tank

Tiger or KV2 Both are iconic and more or less simple to build so WHICH would you prefer people?

Well when it comes to being iconic the tiger wins by a mile. KV2 was kinda of a big fail in life. Hadn't of it before I saw it in WoT. The darn thing would turn over after firing if it wasn't on even ground.

:D Yeah me too man. the only tank I knew before is Tiger and that is it :D I mean on WOT level, both of them or even KV 2 is more iconic there :D I just mean that can't decide by their models, suspension is so different that can't even start and then change mind lol :D

Bloody hell...I wish enemies were that derpy and/or oblivious in my games. I might just manage 15 kills then... Still you can only beat whats in front of you. Great game Derman.

the tiger feels weak because WG up tiered it to fight tanks that it wasn't built to fight. 11 kills, hetzer, back when I still played WoT.

Nicodemus Yes I believe the T29 was built to counter the Tiger cause the Pershings weren't enough.

exactly. the tiger should always have been a tier 6 with the t29 and IS at tier 7. the tiger 2 was built at the same time as things like the pershing and t29

I agree, with that buffed short 8.8 the Tiger is a good tier 6 tank. And it faces the tanks that it hostorically had to deal with, mailny 76mm Shermans and T-34/85. The problem with German tanks is that armor and guns don't match. If you use the historical guns you have to put them down at tiers where their armor causes serious problems for enemy tanks. So WG decided to upgun them. Another reason might be the lack of information about the paper projects when WG created these old branches. The initial German heavy branch was Tiger, Tiger II, VK4502B and Maus. BTW, the T29 was more designed to deal with fortifications. The Pershing was totally capable to deal with Tiger and Tiger II (if using the HVAP ammunition).

the tiger was long obsolete by the time the pershing rolled into Europe. m3 lees fought tigers in Africa. the m4 shermans with high velocity 76mm guns could kill tigers by the time of the Normandy invasion, the allies left most of them in England because they wanted the better high explosive of the older guns for infantry support. the m4 wasn't designed or intended to fight tigers. the panther and tiger 2 were the current tanks by the time the pershing showed up.

My best is 8 kills in the Kv-85, it was before I had the 122 on it too, but most high kill games come from being in the right place at the right time and being lucky
