This spot is the most dangerous one and one can see the depth of the waterfalls also called as JOGA DA GUNDI ✌️
Jog Falls is located at a distance of around 420 Kms from Bangalore and around 110 Kms from Shimoga ✌️
How to Reach JOG FALLS??
1. By Road - one can take the following routes to reach JOG FALLS
ROUTE 1 - Bengaluru - Tumkur - Sira - Hiriyur - Chitradurga - Channagiri - Shimoga - Sagara - Talguppa - Jog Falls
ROUTE 2 - Bengaluru - Tumkur - GUBBI - TIPTUR - Arsikere - Birur - Tarikere - Shimoga - Sagara - Talguppa - Jog Falls
ROUTE 3 - Bengaluru - Nelamangala - Kunigal - Channarayapattana - Arsikere - Birur - Tarikere - Bhadravati - Shimoga - Sagara - Talguppa and Jog Falls
ROUTE 4 - Bengaluru - Tumkur- Sira - Chitradura- Davanagre - Ranebennur- Hirekerur - Shiralakoppa - Soraba - Jog Falls
Out of the above ROUTE 1 and ROUTE 4 are the best ones🤗
2. BY TRAIN
One can take direct train till TALGUPPA either from BENGALURU or SHIMOGA✌️ Currently there are around 4 trains operating till Talguppa
Option 1 - Train No 12079 - Trave from Bengaluru to Arsikere JN in this train and then change over to Train No 16206 and travel till Talguppa
Option 2 - Travel in train No 20651 straight from Bengaluru to Talguppa
Option 3 - Travel in Train No 16579 from Bengaluru to Shimoga and then change over to Train No 07350 from Shimoga to Talguppa
Option 4 - Travel straight to Talguppa from Bengaluru in Night Train. Train No 16227
Out of the above Option 1, Option 2 and Option 4 are the best 🤗
3. Flight
Travel till Shimoga in Flight and from there plan to go towards Jog Falls 🤗
Go to Jog Falls and catch hold of local auto drivers and they will take you to the MUNGARU MALE point 🤗
