Dude this podcast won my heart instantly. Obviously, I got here by being a fan of Flagrant, which Mark is hilarious on. But this genre being a different beast, is awesome in its own right. Your guest selection is so eclectic and interesting. Your interview style keeps things light but lets people with stories we want to hear keep going and captivate us. This could have simply been about Yuri's athleticism, and yet you revealed this colorful human being who's stories remind us of of our own place in this crazy existence. Bravo, Mark. It's been an exceptionally hard couple months for me and every time I see a new episode pop up on the feed I know at least for a few hours I can get lost in the stories of someone else's walk. You seem like a genuinely kind and awesome person, and I admire that your roots in your spirituality have a lot to do with that. As someone struggling with my own relationship with God lately, I look up to you and its crazy that you're almost a decade younger than me but wise well well beyond your years. Class act dude. Thank you for making these. Keep up the good work. It's wild to be proud for someone you literally don't know, but keep gettin' after it dude. I've never left a comment on YT ever, but I felt compelled while watching this. Best of luck, and my girl and I will be at your next Boston show whenever that is - Greg from Cape Cod

Great interview and so relatable as I lived few short years in the Soviet Union as well (6 years). My dad was also selling « contrebande » music like records of Bob Marley and Queen. I was sent off to gymnastics, and it’s so true that families were encouraged to send their kids to practice sport very young and for free.

Hey Mark I know you are set on becoming a good stand up comedian,,all respect,, but you’re really good at interviewing man. My two cents if the stand up take away from prepping for your podcast I believe you’re going the wrong way. Not a dig at your comedy because I never seen it but you really got a this man. Respect.

That serial killer was who the book child 44 was about. It’s wild to think a book I read so long ago can come back so vividly and quickly when he’s talking about it. Can’t imagine what that must have been like with his mom missing during that time.
