I also want to thank you for your book and all of the free information. It's saved me thousands of dollars. I will give the forum another shot since you have a new server.

That's a nice message, to acknowledge Will's ..Can I say, inspirational journey. I have health problems and so a lot of time.. and have quietly followed from those fairly early days in a camper. It was quite obvious that Will was a Man with a Plan ! Very methodical, strategic, disciplined and determined. A single minded focus and dedication. Honest, transparent logical intuitive thought. Educated, Great presentation skills. Eloquent with clear diction and elocution. His appearance, dress and manner exudes morality and clean living, honesty and integrity. As I'm running out of superlatives, you will just have to take my word for it, that in not a brown noser and almost never dish out praises, having been raised myself by narcissistic parents. I don't bandy false flattery around. Well done Will... You thoroughly deserve everything that you've obviously worked for, with such dedication.

I remember you getting excited when you bought that little Toyota car that you passed along to your sister. Now you're excited to own Porches and catios! Good to see you're doing so well, I hope you're healthy and happy also! -PJ

This video of yours for some reason is making me remember back in the day when I found your channel and you were living, and making videos, in a motorhome in California. More people are testing that and i think only certain scenarios will make that more efficient. I will certainly be interested in the summer results though because thats when i think the will shine due to them catching the early and late sun that is rising and setting behind the south facing panels. I think the only thing that would beat that will be solar trackers....

  • @eclecticmemes

@@WillProwse Yes, looking at those power curves implied to me that in the hot summer of Las Vegas the "laying flat" panels will see significant power "clipping" due to the increased heat, thus lowering efficiency at the most critical time period, whereas the "standing up" panels already at their lowest power production at the hottest part of the day will suffer %%%% power clipping at a far lower rate! Could the heat effect help the "standing panels" exceed total energy production of the "laying down" panels? Only experimental data will tell us!

Related to water quality, you should start researching air exchanger systems. Having good air quality is huge for maintaining good health! The typical air filters that plugin to a wall just don't hold a candle to designing an air exchanging system in your living space. It actually keeps bringing in filtered fresh air and exhausts the old stuff, keeping it in motion.

I will need to replace my Lead Acid 40kwh batteries here in the future and using your websight i think i may have settled on a two-phase approach to upgrading to Lithium Iron Phosphate. I cant use electric cars for my purpose as they cost far too much and carry far too small a payload. So i will stick to my 1990, 2002, and 2016 GMC Trucks. They are all paid for and the older ones a very cost effective to maintain.

Great video as usual, I have a suggestion for a video. I'm a renter and recently got a bluetti for power outages. could you do a video on temporary or non/semi permanent solar arrays? I'd like some ideas on creative ways to mount panels or ways to keep them safe if left out for a few days.

Been following your channel for a while. As someone who is self taught your channel has been invaluable. Happy to see you doing good. Ever thought of jumping on a podcast with Stephen Graham (also in Vegas)?

You should look into moving to southern Oregon, less permitting issues for solar. good vid!

Sorry about the red tape slowing you down, that kind of stuff ultimately squashes most creativity. Your feedback on water systems, heat pumps, soft starts, healthy living and even cars are all relevant, helpful, or at least entertaining to a majority of your viewers so don’t worry about occasionally digressing on topics. It’s all good! 👍

Interesting comments on the issue of plastics in our bodies. I respect the articles in Consumer Reports, and the February 2024 issue has an article titled How to eat Less Plastic. One takeaway is super small particles of plastic in drinking water, coming from breakdowns in the filters used to screen larger particles in drinking water.

Am a newcomer on your channel. reading all the comments and the video blows my mind. Thank you for the wonderful content and I am sure what brought me to your channel will be solved... I was looking for a cooling system for my house as there is hardly grid power available. Any suggestion is highly welcome.

Have you thought of running a solar electric water heater or showing us a diy on one. I replaced the gas version I had last year with a Rheem heat pump. But since then I have seen some standard electric versions running off a cybo inverter straight to the element.

As a chemist myself, what he says about hormone altering chemicals in the water is absolutely true. Even down to the polyester statement.

I'm with you on the water quality issues. I have been using a RO setup for years for the water I consume and cook with. Which whole house system did you end-up with?
