I sweat a lot and all I do is lift. I push really hard though. I’ve found that putting up my hair in a loose style has helped a lot with avoiding too much accumulation on my scalp as well as avoiding traction alopecia. Plus I have fibro do my scalp is sensitive as heck anyways. What can ya do

I do both weights and cardio every day and end up with half-soaked hair, it's unavoidable! Basically, I can get away with washing my hair twice a week, by using scented oils and dry shampoo, but I have medium to coarse hair so I don't produce that much oil, basically my hair feels drier the more I workout :(

Blow dry your hair then apply dry shampoo. If you feel you need to wash it just do that or wet your hair and apply conditioner.

My problem is not the sweat but the smell. I do horse riding. Even if I don’t sweat or my hair doesn’t get “dirty”, it smells a bit after a day in the barn. I feel like I need to wash the smell away but I don’t know what to do about it. I just feel like my hair is dirty without being actually dirty. 😕

Just wash your hair. Odors do stink up hair it can happen when at the zoo, barn, around animals, outside, smoking, restaurants/food.

Hey thank you for your videos, I've learned a lot. At the same time, I'm sorry I can't follow all your pieces of advice, but I really have to wash my hair every day because I work out intensely and it's impossible to not sweat, and also I have dandruff (use medicated shampoo prescribed by a derma) + oily scalp + coarse and abundant hair. What I found useful about your advice is to use a shampoo that really cleans (it may sound incredible but I need this every day), and always use CONDITIONER + leave-in conditioner,+ Moroccan oil. I know it doesn't look as good as when heat is used but at least it looks healthy despite washing it every day :) and I can use heat every other day when I want to look more stylish.

This my biggest issue with the gym i sweat a lot my hair became itchy but have very dry hair can’t wash it every time 😭

Might seem tacky, but I wear a towel turban when I do cardio. I used to tie a scarf over it, to hide the turban… but don’t care enough anymore lol. It works every time. Now, I have a Peloton at home, so no need to feel embarrassed working out w/ a towel.
