Can Focus Ring be removed and cleaned after removing the front glass elements only. Or do the Aperture blades need to be removed and rear as well in order to get to remove and clean focus ring.

Do you have advice for working on a stiff aperture ring on a Mamiya TLR 65mm f/3.5 lens. It seems to open and close fine, but the ring is difficult ti turn especially closer to wide ope. Thank you for the great work and service that you are providing to vintage camera lovers.

A week too late for me! I took mine apart last Sunday as the focus was seized. Now it's all in bits. I guess that will make getting the helicoids correctly lined up somewhat challenging?

Hey Kenneth , do you have a milvus 85 mm video how to change the ring closest to the mount ?I had a drop and the focus ring is stuck with the ring closest to the mount

My aperture blades are fine. I "only" want do clean and grease the sticky focus setting. Do you have any advice? thanks, Peter btw: wonderful video!!!

What are those rubber/silicone (sticky) removal tools called? You refer to a set of nine. Where can they be purchased?

I already cleaned a Mamiya-Sekor C f=55mm using your info but it seems that I lost one of the screws that holds the mount. Do you know where can I get one of these screws? Congratulations for your wonderful videos.

Hi Mikeno, I have the same lens and cannot loosen the outer lens group. I’ve tried isopropyl, acetone, and lighter fluid to loosen any glue but didn’t work. Do you have any other tips that might loosen it enough to remove with rubber tool? Thanks!

Help!!! I have a problem with my Mamiya 645 Super where the pin on the camera will not mate with a lens being attached.... putting a lens on the camera moves the pin all the way to the right and it will not seat in the slot on any lens.... can you refer me to someone who can help me with this issue? Seeing the knowledge on this channel I figured you are my best shot at getting this fixed. Thanks for any help you can give!!!

hi Mikeno! I have very nice sekor 55-110mm f4.5. It's like new it's very clean and perfect.......BUT i can't to get one sharp photo - it's impossible to get definition MAY DAY! i shoot with my GFX 50s and i spend 2 days trying and trying!! help me please

@@mikeno62 ah okay, well fortunately my lens that I got did not come in the condition that it was listed as, fortunately it's almost brand new 😊
