I just love Mother Lakshmi so much.Her name itself Laksh means Goal.She blesses her devotees with clearity towards ones goal.She just help me everytime I feel I need her help .In every aspects,She is ready to do anything for you if you have pure heart.

I think Lakshmi might become my matron goddess. I once was told that if my spirituality is low then my prosperity will be low also. With Lakshmi encompassing both spiritual and financial abundance.

She is the bomb! She will test your faith...a small amount of money might be lost for a day, but trust it will come back multiplied.

so much insights thank you for sharing! I do have a statue of Lakshmi but i have been mostly working with other deities/masters because they have oracle decks and i have been desiring to deepen my connection with her because she has been showing up lately to help me spiritually and financially

I recently had a dream about Lakshmi, though I knew nothing about her before. I dreamt I was a child on a bus with my schoolmates and we were all filling small bags with cooked rice to give to a man from a charity. Before he left, he pointed to my young female teacher and said 'That's Lakshmi'. I've been considering setting up a craft business recently, so maybe this was reassurance that it's OK to spend a little on setup first? Or maybe I need to be more charitable in general?

Thank you for sharing. I was struggling to understand her. I want to share my first experiences with her. I'm a polyamorous little with 8 partners from alaska. and I practice Hinduism. A little is a childish submissive in BDSM. They take on playful energy its a lifestyle and a spiritual practice. As a toddler my birth father stole me away from my mom by manipulating the court during their childish divorce to show he had more to give me in terms of money and physical safety. He continued to smother me in toys as a child to distract me from questioning anything or learning anything. And if I questioned it, the meterialism was used against me. My mother never had an abundance. She was homeless much of her life and I saw her cry when she got her first bed set. She loved simple joys of life, creating art from seemingly nothing. Her laughter and weird sense of humor could fill a room with joy. She was resilient and could create a game and a meal from a mouse and thus I respect my birth mother much more. That's why I am afraid of being accused for being meterialistic. And still can be to this day. I don't think being little and wanting things in my little headspace impulsively is enough either. So today I did something I have been putting off sense Diwali two years ago and that's meditating with Lakshmi. oddly enough I find her more compelling to work with than Parvati even though I primarily worship Shiva through Hanuman But also she is much more intimidating. Even scarier than Kali! From what you said in the begining was an immediate call out to why I found her to be so intimidating yet why she was calling to me. From all I can research, it seems people just seem call on her for more money. But She scares me. I didnt want to simply ask her for a favor. I offered no offerings but sandlewood and sat down. I joined her next to a jungle river and she stood. She was very tall. "o Lord Lackshmi. I don't want wealth. I don't want your coins and I have plenty of love in my life. I don't want things. I don't want to do what my father did to others and put meterialism in front of others, even including my hobbies and things I love like music and art and traveling." She said "you wouldnt be here if you didn't want something, because that is what I am. I am the manifestation of all that you desire. You are not here to question a god to be what she is not!" I said: "is there a way I can become like you? If I can become an endless flood of wealth and abundance for my partners and my friends, then I would be happy! I am tired of people I love watching me struggle, worrying about me or thinking I don't have enough. But the truth is I don't want alot of things either" Lackshmi said: "in order to do just that, you would have to detatch yourself from all things. You are not a monk you are not ready to do that!" "I am! There's nothing I could want more than my daddy to feel better or my mistress to be happy and healthy or hope or my other partners to have what they want i'd give anything to make others happy. I love serving. I hate meterialism. that's why I work hard and I am strong like Hanuman" "And That's exactly what you are attached to" The she draped a blanket around my bare shoulders and I sat and cried and wrapped my arms around her legs because she made it feel like my dino blanket. (I lost my blanket I sleep with in littlespace) "This isn't my blanky!" "It's not, but notice you feel exactly the same as if you had it. You attached meaning to it. You brought dino blankey to life and you can do it with anything. Your abundance is in your curiousity and imagination, not in intelligence or money or power. And in the wild, animals like birds use their curiosity and creativity to survive. Your persiverance is what seperates you apart from the pain you experienced when you were younger and alot people in your life are counting on you to be full of childlike wonder and to persevere." I hugged her and I feel much better now.

How to invoke goddess durga?

Itd be nice to work with her. She sounds awesome! I got a girlfriend that i give tirelessly to. Shes homeless. Whether itd be food or needs help with phone, im the person she calls upon for help. Im there for her, but sometimes, my giving nature tires out and I am scared to ask for help at times. What are signs/symbols that I should look out for if the great Lakshmi is calling?

That's a tough question. Historically, Lakshmi is always said to go where virtue goes. In my experience, she doesn't "call you" as much as "reward you". If you do the right thing, give and treat everyone with respect (including yourself!) you can try to contact her in meditation to find out. She's everbody's Goddess, the literal entire "force" of abundance in nature. I mean, just in general, the sign Lakshmi blesses you IS when she does xD Because it's typically so "earthy" you can tell pretty easy- is money, jobs, or other forms of "wealth" coming in, or isn't it?

Red, yellow, golden, green and blue are her colours but pink is also her colour but best auspicious colour is red ❤ in hindu culture it's an auspicious colour because it's the colour of our blood

nice! is she one of the deities that you must make an oath to, meaning once you call on her you have to keep worshiping her forever? or when you need help you call on her then give her the proper offering and thats it.?

My own experience is that I’ve never heard of a deity that requires life long worship, but of course that may depend on tradition. I think the importance is being truthful and honest; if you know it’s just when you need help, be honest about that and it will be a more transactional relationship. If you make a bunch of promises you don’t upkeep, that may go “bad” lol. Lakshmi in particular can be very powerful either way as long as you’re true to your word! 🙏✌️
