Well thanks for posting, i was going to try one of these as i have a particular job taking out some arched brickwork ( replacing 2 bricks that perished) and did not want to disturb or band about too much , i need to remove the mortar joint so they are good for that at least 👍🏻

Yeah there good for squaring corners ect and as a mortar rake but it didnt like cutting the blocks. Thanks for watching
I love the buzz of using a disc cutter without guard. Not only do you have it throw every spec of dust and chips all over your left wrist but you have the added joy of being able to carry your severed left hand with the clean right hand. While you’re at A&E you can have them Syringe out your nose and throat. Gloves might save you some blisters too.

Problem is not in the blade, problem is in your tool. That einhell saw is to weak for this kind of job. You will need professional tool.

And with working technic. He should not "masturbate" with the machine. That's why a machine has a pivot adjustable shoe.

Can you imagine using the recip saw for that "*" purpose. Now you would get hurt or very sore

Any chance on getting some information on the angle grinder? Which model is it? And is that a 230 mm blade?

To be fair I burnt it out now. But it was a GMC 9" but I had popped a 14" blade in it afew times worked wonders
VERY dangerous blade installation on the grinder-no guards and is the blade rated for theRPM of the grinder?
@smithbuilt
Жыл бұрын
Yeah its rated higher then my old grinder. 'm not a person who cares about safety I do things far worse to my self deliberately. But thanks for the concern anyways. Take it easy
this is a fly ashe / gas block blade lol, not meant for hard rock like this

It’s probably meant for cutting thermalite blocks.

The label did say concrete blocks and bricks but yeah I think it's only good for either thermolights or raking out mortar.

@@smithbuilt there any need for SDS if it's just an abrasive borer? Can you get by with a standard drill and cut slower?

SDS drills have a clutch so if it binds you dont break you're wrist but a standard high power drill might be okay, you can only but try

@@summittaedae2323 have you happened to ever tried one with a standard drill instead of an sds? You think a standard drill would be fine but slower to do a single hole one time? Or you think it's so much slower and so much harder it'd be worth the hundreds extra for the drill? And how expensive of a core bit should I expect to buy to do a single hole? Any recommended brands?
Squaring off the corners, about all that is good for.

Why not just go all the way with the angle gringer? I know "the dust" but there are measures. For example; water, vacume/fan or an idiot.

I know, I know. Been told by plenty of concerned people. I promise to not do it again To be fair I tried to not run the blade to fast but later off cam I did and it ripped the brazed teeth from the blade. It was so crappie I took it back and asked for a refund.
