Sir actually the sensor is a camera with a frame rate of 10 FPS and the movement is detected by detection of surface image and a serial data od respective image is generated by the CMOS ic and is further processed by the computer to show and move the pointer..

dude. I understand that v can get mouse for Rs100 , but the lack of will to repair costs us more than that. service center technicians for premium laptops etc don't bother to repair at all. They try to replace with new parts. Here a switch (for may be Rs 3) can be replaced by new mouse for Rs 100 (n v can ignore this), but may b smtim a part worth Rs 300 fails n replacement costs Rs 10,000 ...not everyone can ignore that
