I don’t know if NP is Worth spending all my life time for because i have tried youtube l associates and some others and still failed 4 attempt. I feel so frustrated don't know what to do anymore don’t even have time for my own kids any more 💔💔💔😔😔.

Frustration is a very positive sign. It means that the solution to your problem is within range, but what you're currently doing isn't working, and you need to change your approach in order to achieve your goal.

I just want you’ll to know that if you are out there and you are being really hard on yourself right now for something that has happened … it’s normal. That is what is going to happen to you in life. No one gets through unscathed. We are all going to have a few scratches on us. Please be kind to yourselves and stand up for yourself, please.

Yes please!!! I am also a new primary care NP and uptodate is nice, but i def find myself going on that too much. I can’t be doing that especially if I am expected to think on the spot, regarding things that I haven’t heard of before! Thank you for the video 🤍

Passed my AANP boards yesterday! I used your system review videos for last minute review when I was tired of reading and practice tests. Then reviewed your dump sheets that morning. Can’t wait to follow your new NP videos as I transition into the role. :)

Can you please post that sideshow you were referring to of the common things you're seeing in Urgent Care? I'm very interested to see that. Thanks!

NP here. My recommendation for new NPs is study, study and more studying. I try to read something on a daily basis. I have different books I read such as case files in neurology, internal medicine, psychiatry, etc.

Yay, congratulations!! The resources that got/ get me by are the EMRA antibiotic study guide, the Practice Guidelines for Family Nurse Practitioners by Fenstermacher and Hudson and UpToDate. Also, review x-rays! I did make a video on Indications for X-rays, that would be a really helpful review, before starting at the UC. Good luck & let me know how it goes!

They are 6 and 3! I think mom life and NP school can definitely work, you just really have to manage your time well and prioritize. Social life...hobbies... things like that may suffer lol, but remember it's only temporary!
