Gurl, I can't stand extra spicy sauces either. If it makes you feel any better, the same thing happened to me one time when I got off the subway in Mexico City and stopped at a taco shop in Zona Rosa. I grabbed what looked like guacamole (it turned out to be hand-made salsa verde de habanero); IT BURNT THE BACK OF MY TONGUE SO BAD I NEEDED WATER. So, I know the feeling.

Ohhh I guess Kohlrabi, rightfully pronounced btw, is German. It’s delicious raw as well, I ate it as a kid all the time. Dipped in hummus, cream cheese it’s also good. And super healthy too. At my work as a gardener, we are currently planting them.
