Without grumbling or disputing

It shows there is no eternal security . What it means is you can fall , don't be cocky thinking because you believe you can't lose your salvation . Be humble realizing how hard it is to enter Gods kingdom , which most believers aren't . Paul talked a lot about arrogant believers .

Thank you for breaking down this series on Paul’s view on how we should live in obedience when all else is failing around us! I’m facing some things now in my salvation with my children and as a woman & child of God challenges, trial, tribulations are all the way up but before I can pour out and help my kids, or anyone I have to be well within-living out what I expect to see in their lives. So He is pruning me and teaching me about my flaws and just overall ways that aren’t good and needs fixing so that I can live a fulfilling,blessed & honorable Christ centered lifestyle that will be effective on this salvation journey daily.

Really enjoy listening to your messages and watching your ever so joyful expression . Love the way you explain in an easy to comprehend way. May God bless you and continue to encourage you to carry on his good works.

Thank you for sharing this beautiful Scripture of working out our own salvation and not looking around to point out something wrong in others or other things in the grumbling or complaining, especially when things didn’t work out the way you thought it would, not to be negative about it, but pray about it, and allow God to turn it around for good....🌸

@@gordanazakula5669 The biblical answer is no,, Here’s why,, the Hebrew word tithe means a numeric tenth..The covenant God made with the Hebrews and Israel was reward and blessing for those who perform the law and conversely punishment for failure to do so,, to fail in one matter if the law is to fail in all of it.. Post cross and resurrection,, we entered into a different covenant, as explained by a Paul in his epistles as in Hebrews 8 where It’s clear God made an oath with himself.. we give from our heart now not out of the prescription of the law. Our walk in Christ driven by the Holy Spirit which takes up permanent residence within and us leads us to give to one another with love and to give back both spiritually and financially based on the prescription of reaping what you sow,, this us clearly laid out by Luke 6/38.. so,, give out of gratitude for what he has done,, that includes his church of which he is the cornerstone,, but not out of fear or as a work generated by a command of a quantum ..

I am working out my own salvation, there is honorable fear and well, some trembling of the horror I reckon leaving behind in accordance with philippians 2:12, 2 corinthians 6:14-18, loosening myself of every unequal yoke and common share with those who do not work out their own salvation. Feeding on father Gods love knowing and believing his love = obedience to the father its effortlessly naturally supernatural..

It is simple...The bible says the fearful and cowardly cannot enter the gates of Heaven....So fear of the Lord is only the respectful fear a father expects of his children.... There is only one salvation and one way to Heaven....The Lord Jesus Christ The verse is a warning that if you try and work it out for yourself...do it with fear and trembling because those sensations belong to Hell A lot of people think they are heading for Heaven because they are GOOD people...so they must be saving themselves......their own salvation....which is not possible as the Bible says you CANNOT earn a place in Heaven.........

If it’s not a true fear then why does it say trembling? She didn’t address that!

As I understand it, if we except Gods plan of salvation, and do good we will go to heaven, and if we do bad, we will not. So with that in mind, we should be fearful of God, and so fearful we tremble, meaning we should be VERY fearful if we are not correctly working out our salvation, or striving always to improve, or again, do good. Doing good does not save us directly, however, it is proof of our faith, in that we walk the walk or are, well... correctly working out our salvation. I can't imagine any Christian thinking we don't need to do good in order to get to heaven... it's a must. James 2, "God has chosen the poor of this world who are rich in faith-Salvation is gained by keeping the whole law-Faith without works is dead". However, we still cannot earn our salvation because we will not keep the law or commandments perfectly, we can only make a genuine effort, and again, as indicated, it's a must, as in, it's how "Salvation is gained." Meaning our salvation is in our hands, and we should be very careful how we work it out.
