No man lies on his deathbed wishing he spent more time at the office. Work/Life balance is essential to 90% of the world. Hustle-culture enthusiasts sell a dream not based in reality for most people. Have some cake, take a nap, go see a movie, play with your kids and find time to work out. Everything in moderation. Only 24 hours in a day, choose them wisely.

Having a Work life balance is FOR EMPLOYEES not CAPITAL/Business OWNERS like the speaker. Owners can do what ever they like when ever they like. Employees work to eat and have shelter and can end up homeless if they don’t work enough. forget the reality of TIME OFF when you don’t know where you are going to sleep the next day.

I have a plan to work now and relax and play later. Im not working this hard with no end game. I’ll take my breaks every 3 months but as long as I’m fit young and full of energy and ideas Ima bust my ass and execute. They throw the word work around too lightely. If you dont get sweaty or it its not physical in nature, what you call work really isnt work. It just mentally exhausting mental tasks. So yea its easy to say i want to "work" 6 days a week when your sitting on your ass 10+plus hours a day as compared to a cement worker who actually has to do something other than push buttons for a living.

nope you can have a normal job and be good, seen bothsides of the coin growing up, as long your not lazy, doing nothing on your free time, being resposible with your life and money, nothing wrong with that. I also had the other side were my step father work long hours to succeed, difference was we had access to other things and there was a more bussiness like approach to how we solved house hold issues. I think the issue women are taught today that a man needs to be on infinately making more which is not possible unless your not around. Same applies to women who think the end and be all is not stopping.

So sad that you think that way. It’s funny that most of these same people are the ones that are always crying about fatherless children. Divorce isn’t the only way of your children becoming emotionally drained of their father’s presence. But it seems that “real men” focus their passion on their work over their family. Again… sad.

I bet none of them have children. I would change in a heart beat enjoying time with my daughters over owning a Bugatti! Curiously, these are the same people talking about fatherlessness. Being always absent working is as detrimental to your children’s development as the father not living there. Family, real friends, actual romance with your partner, these are the things most European live for. And with a significantly higher average financial level.

This is not helpful. I think all the skilled tradesmen, nurses, and many other people face palmed listening to these people talk about "work." What a joke. If you think I'm off base, go and educate yourself about the current labor shortage, and the current projections for the years ahead. I live in Canada, but I'm confident the numbers are very similar for the US.

Work-life balance ⚖️ exist but the problem is that people believe too much on everything 50% - 50%. If work-life balance would not exist you would be t a rich man on your way to the grave 🪦. If you have time to sleep, have sex, eat, watch a movie and visit family, that is work-life balance.
