Thank you for this video, I know in the past I used to say things that genuinely offended people without caring, and I am gonna repent of that and saying un “precious” words to anyone I have because I know as a believer now, it truthfully is unacceptable and Matthew 12:36-37 states the consequence. I must say this has spoken to my heart so deeply. Knowing how I try to be careful with my language.I use to call ‘the hole in one’s face’. I’d tell them they should be careful with what comes out of it. I was reminded here of how ugly this must have sound and been to those on the receiving end. When we know better we do better. I was younger then, (trying to use as an excuse). Thank You Jesus for forgiving and showing me a better way of life.

Love the part about Jesus being the great gardener who cultivates and develops the trees of our hearts! Recently I learned the definition of slander. A derogatory statement, true or untrue to diminish and/or harm another person intentionally or unintentionally. I hate to say it but my words were slanderous. It shocked me when I came to this realization with the help of the Holy Spirit. I was able to repent and now I see the truth in what Lokelani said, “the closer we are to Christ, the sweeter our words will be”🎉

Woah! Great word friends! It resonates with me a lot because I’ve become more mindful of what I say, how I say it, and how it may affect the other person! It’s definitely a challenge coming from a Caribbean household with strong personalities. However, I’d rather pick this struggle than being set apart during judgement day😭
