I don't know how long this trend will continue, but for people who do such captions on a regular basis lifetime license it's a great option.

Just what I needed at the right time. Editing a lot more shorter form videos for clients, and doing the subtitles manually was a real pain. Thanks for sharing awesome tips as always!!

I have seen people say it already but it needs to be said again!!! LIVE SAVER!!!! This used to take me over an hour for one of my 59 second shorts, and yea WOW, this took me 5 min including rendering time. Thank you!!!

Super simple to follow along with these instructions. After making a few videos with this, I'm pretty much a convert :D Thank you for sharing and also the After Effects tip is a huge time saver as well. I made one video first with SubMachine and only edited the fonts and colors in Premiere, but after many attempts to fix word splitting and having to re-sync my styles, I decided on the 2nd video to try the AE tip from your video and it was easy to implement, should have done it from the start!

This is exactly what we were looking for! We've been using VEED but expensive for only using the subtitles. So this is going to be a game changer.

EDIT: Tried it for 1 hr.. It sucks. Slow. Hard to use. Not wel developed (couldn't find a cancel button, to cancel certain tasks) Maybe its me, but CapCut seems way easier.

So happy you made this video. A day before you posted this I combed through your videos looking for exactly this. So far everything went smoothly except i get an error message when I hit create that the sequence frame rate and mogrt framerate don't match and they do and I even tried them all so I emailed customer support and am waiting for response. I had 29.99fps sequence. Didn't even know that was an option. So i changed it to 29.97 and all the 29.97 mogrt's work now!

This plugin looks great; however, my concern would be: after you make the investment, will Adobe just add this as a feature? This has happened several times now. Hey Frank! Since Pr didn't built it native, someone had to. I did tell them there needs to be animation presets in Pr for social video. Capcut has it inside, as well as Descript and other social apps. Premiere Pro is a Pro editor, however, it takes longer for them to code in these new things. But we will see. I'm impressed with how CWS made submachine and happy to support them :)

The sad thing is you need so much plugins and other features that should be built automatically in Premiere Pro..... Thank you for giving all your tips!

Love the fact that these dynamic captions can be automated by this plugin, but I’m noticing there are 1-frame gaps between some of your subtitles. Is this a settings issue, or just a bug?

It is based on the timing of the srt file, so you can leave them or roll the length of the generated mogrts in your timeline

This is great. But it would be nice to see a thumbnail preview of the mogrt before applying it.

Thanks for putting this video together. Been hooked on your channel for a couple of months - really good info here! I'm not exactly a black belt in premiere like you are, so forgive me for this white-belt question: Whats the difference between this plugin vs just highlighting your caption > graphics and titles > Upgrade Caption to Graphic? Can't you then just send to AE and stylize your mogrt there? Thanks in advance!

Upgrade Caption to Graphic wont add the animation, you'd have to animate the box manually word by word which will take, lets say, a long time 😊. Submachine's mogrts have the animation built into each one.

Yes, I've done a video earlier about animation one color on top of each other. it would require you to create a shape and manually create and set keyframes word by word. The plugin only saves time.

Is it necessary to set up everything in AE or can I do it word by word using only Pr?

Is there a way to create a stroke submachine parameters? I'm trying to match the text style that some other editor did it and it has a thick black stroke around the text. Wondering if this is possible to adjust by creating your own mogurt?

After the first demo had to grab my credit card and just go for it.

Thanks Gal, kinda stuck with the fact that the word by word settings "Format, Stream, Styles" are only when an audio is transcribed! I need to create that from written default captions. Is there a way this can be fixed?

I shoot with a Canon EOS R with a 35mm f1.8 wide angle lens. I use a Comica Vimo-C Clip-on Lav Mic (amzn.to/3ZWxJwk) and Rode NT USB Mini as a backup on my desk. After I'm done editing, I upscale my videos 4k using Topaz Video Ai (topazlabs.com/ref/1689/) The reason I don't shoot native in 4k is because I share my edits over Dropbox with a Team of editors and 4k is slower at uploading and takes up 2x the amount of space, when you shoot a lot of video it gets eaten up fast.

I have SEARCHED and SEARCHED and cant seem to find a single video that shows how to properly install extensions on Adobe Premier Pro. There are a lot of videos about SubMachine and cool stuff you can do but ZERO videos on how to properly set it up and get it to show up in Adobe Premier - Window - Extensions. Aton of videos on how to get extensions from Adobe Creative Cloud but ZERO videos on how to get SubMachine properly installed on Mac. Can you please help us Premier Gal - pa pa pa please

Close Pr. After you purchase the subscription (1 week free to test!) or lifetime, download the install files, the .exe for windows and package for mac. Install. Once installed Open Premiere, go to Window > Extensions > SubMachine. Plugins (Extensions) are all accessible from this location.

right - but is there a way to do this with IMPORTED captions. it seems you can change the preferences on a NEW caption track - but not if you have to change an existing track. Premiere's transcription still sucks - and I have to edit extensively - whereas with my external captions - that's great - but I want to use submachine - but can't find the place to change what I upload -

HI GAL. I have just purchased this through your affiliate link. It seems that they have probably updated the software and there are more "types" available now. However, I couldn't find the individual word style anymore and that's the one I wanted. Do you know if it is still there now but maybe is called differently now? Hey! Amazing video, i was wondering if it is possible to generate the captions on double lines?

Been having this issue for over sometime now in premiere. Whenever I open an extension/plugin in premiere, it opens up in a huge separate panel instead of opening a small tab under the Edit tab, where you've: effects, library etc..... This is so annoying as this separate panel covers almost half of my timeline. Any fix?

That's likely to happen the first time. After that you can save layouts and workspaces which should then cause the projects to open with the last save workspace layout. If not you can then just select the correct workspace to return to the desired workspace layout.

So.... I am Danish and Premieres auto-transcripe dosen't work on Danish. So I use a danish AI-site to generate captions for my video's and create SRT's. The problem is that I can't force Premiere to use single lines and pretty much can't edit the text like you show in the video. Is this plugin dead on arrival for me? Or do you know of a way to edit SRT's inside of Premiere? :) Kind Regards Jørgen

It’s been working well in most languages so far. You can test it using the free trial or you can email us an SRT file so we can run some tests for you.

Mine says Null is not an object when I try to click create. I don’t know how to get it to work.

You could rig an AE mogrt to do that.

I got the plug in but it looks the individual word mogrt is missing which sucks because I looking forward to it. Great tutorial though. Your channel is one the best!

How I can get the Individual word background mogrt, I got the Submachine but it doesn't come with it
