Just to clarify I think Lucius is a great character but his interaction with Semrah (the main reason I assume a lot of people would have summoned for him) is beyond broken. Semrah needs multiple fixes on the Aegis stage alone, dispel is a nice idea but needs to actually work.

Every time u here a "BUT" in a sentence is never good news ..we all freaking summoned for "LUCIUS" blew my kids college fund halfway but still didn't care coz I was promised someone who can get the freakin job done...I'm stuck with a 12k worth of diamonds on a freakin CRUCH ..CRYNCH CRUNCH.?? His not doing what he's promised to do...is this Rocket science

They need to fix all problems as fast as they did the antihealbug.... Not only the good, but also the bad...

Issue is that the anti heal bug was very easy to fix and likely did not require a binary update to the game like semrah's buff mechanics may likely have to have.

and Lucius doesn't dispell other boss/elite buffs like in Gala of Tya Story Chapter B.

Im f2p and everytime I save up to get a hero everyone predicts will be good, they end up changing or the hero turns out to be mid at best😂 its so frustrating

Lucius still feels horrible against Semrah. Having to make sure you are able to ult with him at the right time, to only remove the buffs for a very short time...

Yup seems weird that he has very little impact from my testing, but I don't think that it is Lucius problem, Semrah is just a bit borked.

The visuals on the shield is saying he has a ton of stacks too right ...so he is definitely bugged ..

Moonton really dropped the ball here. How could they not have THOROUGHLY tested that the hero works on the MAIN fight where dispelling buffs would be important? Also, have you seen the reports that using Lucius on the Valderon fight going on in the CURRENT anniversary event, Valderon gains a BUFF and Lucius can't dispell it? Like already t seems clear that there's going to be buffs (probably a lot of boss fight buffs) where they won't allow the dispell, but they haven't thought ahead to making it CLEAR what buffs can or can not be dispelled? And will he be able to dispell buffs on smaller weaker foes, that we can't even see buffs or debuffs on anyways? Who knows! They needed to have overhauled how we see buffs and debuffs before releasing a hero like this.

Also, as a hero design, having a dispeller who dispells on ult, but then who can also LOSE their ult if you wait too long, is a super problematic design. Obviously buffers and debuffers need to NOT lose their ability to do their main function.

I hope the devs do fix Semrah. Otherwise, they'll have many players who are unhappy, especially the guys who aimed to get Lucius to A5 due to his buff removal ability

I don't like their "fix". It's too short of a window to be worthwhile. Also, the event campaign b doesn't let the Lucius debuff work, what a wasted opportunity. There's not many bosses to debuff, so why not let us have fun with this new skill.

So instead of fixing the problem with the boss, they gloss it over by trying to pull a paint job on lucius to make it look like lucius is working, but it's the bosses that have buffs that are not being dispeked. Same occurring with other bosses, he appears to dispel buffs, but other bosses still doing damage or not taking more damage because the buffs are still active in background and on next buff they just increase their buffs

It's not difficult if you can add a +1 to buffs, you can also add a - 1 to buffs, with cap of 0

I PERSONALLY DID TELL "FASTIDIOUS " ABOUT THIS NONSENSE ie..use lucius in any and I mean any scenario that involves buffs u getting double dose of the enemies buffs ...u die in gear raid 1 stage 19 -20 using him yet with out him ur team atleast still survives the whole stage without any loses ... I even called him a rebuffer not a de buffer .... I except more than that 1 stamina potion from MOONTON ...#ask-my-lady

man, I've been saving for so long as a f2p. I summoned over 100 blues, 40k+ diamonds and 26 divines to get one copy of him and I immediately max leveled and max skilled him because I thought he would be a game changer for GB2 but it's just one big disappointment after another. Big L from moonton.

Lucius is just plain a test run for whatever NOT MOON "so don't expect alot' Get It ......not the moon

The damn boss is bugged as hell, his 3rd form is also crazy, Midan even with Hollow + Layla can't recover her ultimate in time as well.

They should've just left Lucius ult the same and changed Semrah to only add one stack per Aegis.

They really need to fix this. Kinda disappointed having to spend just to get a bugged hero/semrah or whatever dont eat me.

Not sure if anybody else gets the same issue as me, but if I don't have ults on auto, Lucius' ultimate is not available. It goes from 99% to 1% and straight into his second mode. Really frustrating!

Could be his attack speed is really high so he is getting a lot of pursuits happen while charging for the ult.

Yup, did the dispel at 9 seconds, it removed at 8, the hit came at 6. Can see that Lucius ult is already timed down a bit.

How i wish Diablo ii could be remade with todays graphics ... Gears having more than 4 attribute (not even legendary) and u cld have as much as u killed gold on u ...levels where determined by your level not the stage ur at ...geez ...lvl 69 still farming gear that wont even kill a RODENT ????

I thought I'd got lucky getting the champ, but then saw the vids of buffs being removed and coming back very quickly, to me whats the point of de-buffing id they come back at the same lvl as before, and the window is so small to do damage! dumb hero, pointless tbh, just load up a true damage champ instead of using this garbage.

Pretty upset about getting Lucious, who would be my best legendary... Instead he's a broken mess.

I hope they fix the aegis phase of semrah, I pulled Lucius (257 summons) just for the debuff... If they don't fix this, I won't be spending anymore.

Honestly Fastidious along with several other content creators should take a lot of the blame here. You mentioned that Lucius doesn't work as most people expected, but he works exactly the same as he did pre-release on the test server. You can watch it in videos by Ronaldo and J&Gio. It's just that they didn't provide commentary on that aspect specifically. Other content creators hyped him as a must have even with no testing footage in their videos at all. Then, when he didn't work as Fasti expected, based on his own ignorance, he immediately declared Lucius bugged, rather than attributing it to (subjectively) bad design related to Semrah and demanded a fix. Moonton caved, because they set a bad precedent other times when this has happened, and rather than fully evaluating the issues and making some more deliberate, well thought out and tested changes they threw a band aid on it to quell the masses. I agree there are some major fixes that are needed, but the way it's gone down has been an absolute mess.

It is not on creators to make sure stuff works properly, they can help out and maybe catch things but ultimately this is on Moonton. I agree with the bandaid situation, maybe it needs a bigger update to actually fix semrah. Fingers crossed they address it, kind of cast a shadow over the anniversary as it stands.

Fastidious has monetary incentive to hype the game and new heroes. He does good deep dives and I love to see his data, but I weigh his opinion right there with a pile of dog crap.

@@LockdownWOR There's several problems with what you're saying there. Your premise is that something isn't working properly, which isn't clearly established. Moonton never acknowledged any bugs that I'm aware of. This discussion has centered around people subjectively not liking Semrah's design, which I think is a valid debate, but that doesn't mean the mechanics weren't what the devs intended. My premise was not that it is on content creators to make sure things work properly. That's a straw man. What I was saying is that Lucius worked pre-release vs Semrah EXACTLY the same as he did post release, yet creators hyped him as a must have pre release and then complained post release despite there being no changes, because they either didn't test him fully or relied on the opinions of their peers. While it's not on creators to make sure things work correctly, they do literally have access to the TEST server and one would hope they would at least feel some obligation to give their audience as accurate an assessment as possible, which objectively did not occur here. Following that, Fastidious incorrectly labeled Lucius as bugged, when the issue (if you agree there is one) is clearly on the Semrah side and demanded that Lucius be fixed. That was impulsive and pressured Moonton to fix the wrong thing since Fastidious had effectively weaponized his audience. It's just not responsible behavior and didnt' do any good for the game or the community.

Did you even watch the video, the removal of buff doesnt even work, it only remove visually on the screen, but semrah still has the buff

Lots of guides for Semrah 2 70-80k without Lucius. Overhyped and buggy hero.

I assume everything worked as intended. from the patch notes they even say they pretty much BUFFED Lucius making it even more seems like everything worked as moonton wanted it to. Lucius is a normal pool hero not ancient exclusive and if you been paying attention moonton doesnt release new heroes that are more then MID unless they are ancient exclusive.

This is really getting out of hand. Just because Lucius doesn’t single handedly cheese the entire second phase on his own in the most end game content the game currently has, doesn’t mean that he is broken nor that GB2 is bugged. He works as intended. You are supposed to temporary remove the shields so can have a quick damage burst. You are NOT supposed to remove them entirely from the boss :)

yes but during that period where the boss "temporarily" has no shields stacks, the earth shatter still somehow snapshot all the previous shield stacks resulting for more falling stones. you right lucius was never bugged in the first palce, its the hardening stacks mechanic that is bugged.

As shown in the video, the stacks are just visually getting removed, the boss still has the def stacks so you aren't doing any more dmg than you would otherwise.

It's fine that he gets those sheilds back. The problem is the dmg for his earth shatter doesn't reduce when you took off the stacks. That's the issue. I submitted images about is as well as I have also noticed this
